Got a few 50p sarnies in mr shoes earlier. Took them back to car to keep cool. Decided to eat one while walking to bank. I was only bloomin dive bombed by a hungry sea gull.

Very scary didn't realise they tried to pinch them from you, I ducked as it swooped so got my head instead of my sandwich and afraid I didn't get chance to get a pic of the bird for TM :rotfl:

Mhoc, errant son seems to be making a lot of fuss over one bite, considering he lived in a van for days. Most likely he was bitten outside when he was on his phone and didn't notice til later.

At DS2's flat waiting for sky to be fitted while he's at work. The flat is clean and tidy which is More than can be said for the bedroom he's left behind! Just shows how they can act like adults when they want to.

I am a soap fan aswell :rotfl: I will admit to watching them all, Neighbours, Home and Away, Emmerdale, Coronation Street,Eastenders.

If I miss them, i dont go back and watch catch up though

    Tell a lie a do :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm a big Neighbours fan, have been from Episode 1  Did you know we could be losing Neighbours. Ch 5 are talking about dropping it. There is a petition appealing to Ch 5 to keep showing it.

I've signed it of course

Used to watch Home & Away but when that moved I stopped watching, I started to watch the News instead :D

Can't believe they should be £30  I've just picked one to try. My local has mostly blonde and few dark brown left.

I am desperate for my roots to be coloured, but I always worry if I use these, it will turn my roots funny colour and not wash out and I will be stuck like it until I get to the hairdresser :rotfl::rotfl:

I've used a couple of the root touch up things before Sarah, they are very temporary and wash out at the next wash...they also sometimes fade a little after a day so it's a little bit like applying a layer of make up to your hair....it doesnt always stay put.

The ones I've used have tended to blend in a little to the hair to create more of a "highlighted look " rather than a block colour coverage and I have found that the spray on ones can be a little sticky too.

The best one I found was a john Frieda brush on one that had a little powder container under the brush...I tested rather than bought and TBH....I thought they were all very expensive for what they were...mostly upwards of £10 ...so Tiny had a bit of a bargain in shoes this afternoon.

Don't mention bloomin birds to me !!! It looks like one has dropped something on my conservatory roof - and knocked a little hole in the top layer. Its only gone through the top layer but water is getting in and running down the channel so I've got to get it sorted out. I don't know if it means a repair, a new section - or possibly a whole new roof if the design of the sections is out of production.

I am now an expert on conservatory roofs.....my saga with the builders next door is still ongoing!

Our roof was put in place 2 years ago when the conservatory was put up...its a poly roof so sounds similar to yours as we now also have water running down the channels where the builders walked on it!

IF its been put on in sections you may get away with just one section being replaced...it depends how large the section is,how prominent it is on the roof, whether the roof has discoloured at all with sun and exposure and whether you are prepared to put up with a batch variance colour.

I have been told that actually poly is subject to slight colour differences so you may need to have the whole area replaced...its all according to what you are prepared to "put up with".

We have 2 sections to our roof...the one the builders stood on ...and the one they flicked paint across..hence we need a new roof £1500!

home insurance accidental damage might be an option for you to look at as at least that will cap your outlay to the amount of your policy excess
