Dearest Mhoc...you really are going through it with space invasion at the moment.
I can't compete at all with any of what you are going through...but I am coming out in sympathy with you in a little fashion.....as yet I have not seen DS since last night when he retreated to his room around 9....I think he's still asleep!

Won't bother waking him...I figure he will get up when hunger strikes...but at least the extra sleep will be beneficial to the dark circles and bags under his eyes that he came home with!

still loving the chaos of him being home....

Yes, it is a bit but its a big enough house for everyone to move around and not get under each others feet - except the kitchen - plus a long enough garden so its not like we all crammed together in 2 rooms.
Last summer when he came back from HK - he was back 2 days, interviewed on the 3rd day and again on day 5, got the job on the same day and he had a start date 4 weeks later - so we had a start and very fast finish date so he was not around long enough for us to have any of the issues we are having now.
(actually on day 6 he just got up and left the house and went back for 2 weeks so in total he was only home for 2 weeks before the new job started)
This time is somewhat different - he could be back for months on end, we really don't know yet ...

Mhoc, errant son seems to be making a lot of fuss over one bite, considering he lived in a van for days. Most likely he was bitten outside when he was on his phone and didn't notice til later.

At DS2's flat waiting for sky to be fitted while he's at work. The flat is clean and tidy which is More than can be said for the bedroom he's left behind! Just shows how they can act like adults when they want to.

also very likely - bottom paddock is very soggy and lots of flying things about - plus the year round shorts wearing

I'm a big Neighbours fan, have been from Episode 1  Did you know we could be losing Neighbours. Ch 5 are talking about dropping it. There is a petition appealing to Ch 5 to keep showing it.

I've signed it of course

Used to watch Home & Away but when that moved I stopped watching, I started to watch the News instead :D

I used to watch Home & Away when DD still lived at home, but we have migrated to Eggheads :)

Looking at the Fairy Platinum, I was hoping to find it for £1 in T but doesn't seem to be so.

Mhoc...do you think part of his behaviour is because he really doesn't know himself where life will take him next?

maybe he's regressing back to old ways simply because he's back home with mum and dad and actually feels a little resentful or even sad that he can't be with the new bride to live their lives as they see fit.

I do so feel for you and your OH...neither of you deserve what you are getting from him.

Mine has finally awoken...grabbed a bowl of cereal, showered and retreated to his room with his phone...we are still very clearly on uni time zone.

Priority moment over, Creme egg saved for another time. :D

    Laters x

in WHSmiths OHs 02 app worked fine so he got his egg, my app just refused to co operate so the nice assistant just gave me mine anyway - she could see marital disharmony breaking out if we had to share one egg :D
So the codes must be the same for everyone

So now we have 2 eggs and 3 lindt mini bunnies (sainsbobs sampling lsdies freebies)

Oh has said there is an email flying around work from management on high to say Thorntons eggs are en route for staff - I said that's great but I imagine it will be mini ones. And anyway what about the long suffering wives and partners what do we get :rotfl:

Yes he def does not want to be here, he has said so. Also he said the same last summer.
He is very resentful and very angry especially towards us.
He probably is fearful of what is to happen next - we all are really. But he has this attitude, this certainty, this blind faith, that whatever he does he will succeed at, if not then its someone else's fault.
He said to his Dad yesterday that it was schools fault that he didn't get his Maths C at high school - forgetting altogether the extra tutoring he had, all the work the SENCO helped him with, plus he had extra maths tutor at college (and the work I put in for decades)

Your DS is still on planet Uni but in a few days he will be back on earth :) - at least the Easter break is longer so they get a chance to rest and recuperate.
Our Eldest has said she needs to make a dental check up so she needs to come back for the weekend sometime after Easter - I think she likes the occasional escape for a couple of days from her frantic normal work/home life, to come home and be cosseted, a sort of temp sanctuary - home cooked meals, no pressure or expectations and the familiarity of home, exactly as it should be.
    Same with Eldest son.

Errant son does not see it the same way at all.

Errant son was in college for 4 years plus 2 years of uni but it was local so he lived at home.
But he wasn't actually at home that much - 3 uni days, 1 practical, 2 days working in the hotel, scouts or ATC 3 nights a week plus the odd weekend away with mates or scout trips or ATC etc so he was always coming or going
And everybody got along well enough, no one was around enough to annoy anyone, it was just busy.
Oh at work as normal and I was looking after grandad at least one day a week.

And then he left home after uni and decided he had had enough of us.
