Add the yoghurt when you eat it bubbs ....just sort of swirl it in and that should cool it down.

I'm impressed that you are not having a takeaway.

we stopped the Friday takeaway when DS went to uni after having it for literally ever...

It was a bit of a faff at first but actually cooking on a Friday has become habit now...and its a really good way to save money too.

    worryin g Telegraph article

For many there will barely be a month in which there is not some form of HMRC payment or filing deadline, the Treasury has admitted

It must be the day for it.....

Despite asking for my Viking order to be delivered next Monday, when I would be home. I arrived home to find all gift cards present and correct (as sent direct) but a card through letterbox saying item (paper) left near wheelie bin. Surprise, surprise it's nowhere to be seen after four days. Or perhaps floated away in the rain. Email sent to Viking.

And whilst sitting at York station waiting for connecting train, I emailed Virgin Trains to express my disappointment that my first class breakfast - which I was told on boarding at Berwick could not be provided until crew change at Newcastle (which was fine) - didn't turn up until we were pulling into York station!! Hence no breakfast for me. More annoyingly I've had an email back from Virgin Trains Customer Support (the contact given on the website) saying I need too forward to Virgin Trains Customer Relations. (Who are probably at the desk opposite:)). They did provide an email address. But clearly forwarding my complaint to that email address would be outside their job description. :rotfl:

    Rant over. :rotfl:

I am joining you in the rant.
You might do better doing a copy and paste and using this as your starting point for a proper letter to go via snail mail
Add in though the difficulty of the incorrect website email address, the inability to forward an email, the delay and annoyance caused plus mention your financial inconvience through not getting the breakfast you paid for etc ...
I always get better resonses by writing letters.
If you have paid for 1st class, which is not a cheap option, then the main advantage is breakfast and unlimited coffee

I did point out my added frustration in my forwarded email. But I will definitely follow up by snail if no satisfactory response.

On the plus side, Viking have already responded with an apology and credit for the missing paper. :T

We rarely even go to the chip shop now - the parking is *^+# and then there is the hideous queue and the guilt afterwards of eating something so unhealthy plus nearly £8 ...

    Good morning all...

I've just read back over last night....my goodness me where have I been all week...I know I've been here, but it seems I have missed so much!

Enterprise...it's always comforting when the send of goes well, your FIL must have been very much loved and respected...

Lovely to see LS popping in....yay that your man is enriching life and together you are content....poo that the operation needs a rejig!

I completely missed acknowledging the lovely cjj....so sorry sweetie....hope everything is good with you at the moment ....maybe we can catch up in a PM when things arn't so busy....

and the biggest sorry of all....to Bubbs....I have completely overlooked your diabetic diagnosis ....gosh that is a life changer, but I see that you have made wonderful progress on the way forward....a fantastic loss this week x

As for me...well We are giving frugal April a miss....probably because DS will be home for most of it does seem to be the perfect time for perhaps a little indulgence for us all!

Hope dizzy D's week on the allotments has been going well....OH had last week off to try and pull his into a little bit of shape ....but its been hard getting back into it.....going for the simple option of potatoes and onions this year I think!

Here's to a lovely weekend all whatever you do.....

Hi Bubbs. I too missed your diagnosis. Well done on the weight loss.
