    Good morning Elite :hello:

I've been awake since 6am but after getting some coffee took it back to bed and curled up again, snug as a bug.

Susan. I think I need a day 2 as I am still suffering and feet still puffy :o. DS3 has said 'well I did tell you to keep off the shingle beach'. Now why would I? I wouldnt have been able to join in and play, a little normality goes a long way with me knowing I'm going to pay the price. The option of not joining in would mean I'd just be watching them have fun, I can watch them at home
Hope you and 3dos oon feel better x

Hope the one I am going to today goes as well. The first of the group of friends I grew up with makes it hit home a little. Far too young, feel so much for his mother.
    So sorry to hear this:(

    Good morning all...

I've just read back over last night....my goodness me where have I been all week...I know I've been here, but it seems I have missed so much!

Enterprise...it's always comforting when the send of goes well, your FIL must have been very much loved and respected...

Lovely to see LS popping in....yay that your man is enriching life and together you are content....poo that the operation needs a rejig!

I completely missed acknowledging the lovely cjj....so sorry sweetie....hope everything is good with you at the moment ....maybe we can catch up in a PM when things arn't so busy....

and the biggest sorry of all....to Bubbs....I have completely overlooked your diabetic diagnosis ....gosh that is a life changer, but I see that you have made wonderful progress on the way forward....a fantastic loss this week x

As for me...well We are giving frugal April a miss....probably because DS will be home for most of it does seem to be the perfect time for perhaps a little indulgence for us all!

Hope dizzy D's week on the allotments has been going well....OH had last week off to try and pull his into a little bit of shape ....but its been hard getting back into it.....going for the simple option of potatoes and onions this year I think!

Here's to a lovely weekend all whatever you do.....

    Hi LEJC
Thanks, i was gutted but my head is in a better place now and i was really happy too:D
Hope your ds is ok and you have a fab 1st weekend with him back x

    Morning all

    some questions please re cashback

On COS I've got Munchy seeds packs of 4 (bars?) with £1.50 cashback from Waitrose. These are about £2.49 so after cashback about a pound - cheaper than bars of chocolate, healthier and also useful as emergency food in your bag
And very helpful in getting your free coffee and newspaper

Then I noticed on mysupermaket that sometimes they go on offer for £1.50 so I wondered if Waitrose change prices at the start of the month or the first Sunday/Monday in the month - I know Sainsburys and Morribobs have patterns of price change days.

It will probably be the day after the offer expires.
    Usually offers change weds hth

More instalments later - this morning I had a mini meltdown (in my head anyway) so I am formulating some new and various levels of coping techniques.
One of which means leaving Errant son in charge of waiting for Superdrug loo paper order (its not coming today but he wont know this) whilst the adults run off to sainsburys with a flask of coffee. I have 4 chocolate eclairs listed on mycoupons for extra nectar points so these will be consumed on the car park whilst drinking the coffee :rotfl:
we are very mean not sharing :D
    So funny hope you enjoyed:rotfl::rotfl:

Can't believe I've just had to have an argument with the bus driver who was adamant he couldn't accept a Scottish £10 note!! According to him the bank won't cash them as they are not legal tender in England. He'd already issued my ticket and I was equally adamant he could accept it and I would not be getting off the bus and waiting 90 minutes for my next one. Guess who gave in first.

    Well done:T:T:T
