its a very long sorry story - search for " errant" - you will need strong tea ...
Its not going to get any better for the foreseeable future - this is our first full week, not counting last weekend when he appeared the night before his sisters wedding ....“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
quick post to check my new sig
so ref sig, you can still get a £5 per account, argos card with the month we have left.0 -
This mornings coping plan worked well -
Errant son arrived back from town (been to Nationwide to do a job he could very easily have done online or over the phone but he was also doing something sneaky he was not going to tell me about)
I left him in awaiting the superdrug loo paper order (not due until tomorrow but he's not to know that)
and we went off to Sainsbobs.
I got the vitalight marg for COS - so it looks like I was making an effort, specifically going to Sainsbobs and getting spreading marg for Errant son, marg we have not had in the house for years.
Actually I was getting chocolate eclairs which is on mycoupons for bonus nectar points so we had these on the carpark with a flask of coffee- a sort of adhoc picnic.
As was pondered this morning it does explain why you see people just sat in their cars on carparks - probably having a quiet 20 mins before dragging themselves back into the fray - the fraught office situation, back to the elderly relatives they care for, the delinquent adult children who have returned home and who are squatting in your house ...:rotfl:
(also the Lindt chocolate bunny lady was also giving out bunnies so we have acquired a few for future carpark picnics)

Can't believe I've just had to have an argument with the bus driver who was adamant he couldn't accept a Scottish £10 note!! According to him the bank won't cash them as they are not legal tender in England. He'd already issued my ticket and I was equally adamant he could accept it and I would not be getting off the bus and waiting 90 minutes for my next one. Guess who gave in first.0

GoodAfternoon does anyone think I should contact Nectar or wait till tomorrow. I ordered some gift cards etc from Viking yesterday and expected to see them on my app this morning. I m sure I read some had them the next day .Thanks
I would wait a little longer, its only been one day.
I think the more we raise queries on this the more likely they are to close it down.

Question about working taxcredit. My Mum has a pretty useless cleaner but Mum refuses to let us get rid of her. Anyway as sis is home getting better she gets funding to pay a cleaner. So we already pay this lady £10.00 per hour for 4 hours a week ( into her bank account) and sis has taken over paying this and given her an ectra hour a week whilst shes home. But she needs an invoice for her insurers and asked the cleaner to provide one. Firstly she said she couldnt as she would have to declare it ( it goes into her bank account so surely she declares it. ) She is self employed and told my sister she gets £50.00 per week working tax credit and couldnt manage without it. But then she said she works 30 hour a week and most of her clients pay her £12.50 per hour. Even if 20 of those hours were at £12.50 per hour and the rest at £10.00 per hour then that £323.00 per week gross. So how is he getting £50.00 working tax credit!
I think you've answered your own question..
she's not declaring it :mad:He is right that they're not legal tender....they're not even legal tender in Scotland

Everything went really well yesterday. It was only a little chapel, and it was standing room only, must have been 120 people there. It was a beautiful ceremony, it was non-religious Cloddagh service, and they had a section where you put pictures on a screen, really beautiful it was and he would have thoroughly enjoyed it.
Snap, so sorry to hear your sister's news, hope the results from the biopsy are the best they can be xx
Glad to hear it went as well as possible, how is your dh?Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

Yes maybe but quite annoying when you read others had theirs the next day. You wonder if you are going to get them at all.0
