The curries are lovely and sometimes you can find some of the dishes mains or sides in PYO for extra discount. :cool:0 -
at least when you get into the cottage you will feel a bit more settled and you can spread your things about, hotels however lovely their main charm is that in a few days you can go home to your own bed and your own santuary.
but in your case not having a going home date for months is going to be tough physiologically - with me I think If it went on too long I would loose emotional ties and just want to sell up.
This is the 2nd time Errant son has bounced back, last summer was fortunatley reasonably short term, this time - goodness knows how long ...
Too much hurt, damage and pain has gone on for the parent/son bond to ever be restored
So after half an hour of muttering at train timetables because he could not book a train on the day Errant son has gone off to the army recruitment office, using his big brothers bike to get to the train station.
i have the house and garden to myself for a few hours at least ...
Also he has been looking at the RAF recruitment website this morning, even more of a lost cause ...
My emotional ties with the house are strong as I have been there 35 years plus. Yes hotel is nice but its not home. Skip has just been delivered and damp chap called as surveyor did not include 2nd bedroom in the quote and emailed me and the gist of it was existing damp is not covered. I emailed him back and said we had a new damp course 12 years ago and there is was no existing damp. But the damp man said he will go in and take a pic of the damp meter against the wall so when they come back and ask he will have proof.
What was your son's job before he lost it. And have you met his new wife. Is it a love match or do you think otherwise ( ie visa! )
How old is he? And as for the parent /son bond sometimes its broken for ever.
My OH managed to rebuild his relationship with his daughter and they are partners in crime now as he is retired and she is home with the baby. But relationship with his son is not the same. He gets envious that DS calls me all the time and only calls him if I am unavailable. I remind him that all the years they were growing up he was not there so what does he expect. Sad but true.
However DD is about to have some more therapy as she is struggling with her eating and her hair is falling out again.0 -
MKS I've not been around much but have been thinking about you and your dear dad too. x0

Think I've found a glitch in the indian meal deal, this curry is showing in the side dishes not the mains.

Can't check whether it works as it states discount will not be shown in your shopping trolley but will be applied when payment is processed.0 -
I can't find any of the curries or sides in my PYO offer this time though for extra discount.0

My iPad used to change from portrait to landscape view if I turned it round - now its locked itself and doesn't change - I have looked at the Settings stuff but can't work out how to unlock it. If anyone can advise I would appreciate help.
Also, I have looked at the Dr Oetker promotional site and it says vouchers will be limited to 4 per postal address. I suppose the emailed £1 vouchers might be OK per different email address but the posted gift cards (not that I anticipate winning even 1 let alone more than £4 !) will be a problem.ELITE 5:2
