Morning all
I am hiding out in the bathroom practising deep calm breathing
Siri insisted that it would warm up to today and it wouldn't rain until later - she lied on both accounts. Possibly by the time I have cleared the junk mail off my desk it might be possible to venture out with wet weather gear.
So far this morning - Errant sons wet washing from yesterday was still wet as he hung it all in a clump on the rail at the top of the stairs. I separated it out to try and get it to dry. He then collects it together and hangs it outside where it gets rained on. He ignores it and I ignore it.
The worst bit is the state of the kitchen. Without any warning or notice he started frying bacon, the cheap nasty sort which oozes fat and water. I go and open both kitchen windows wide as the house will now stink of it all day. I wondered back through with mugs later and its a total mess - the kitchen is cleaned down after dinner and first thing in the morning and it is never in this state
So Ive already asked him to clean up once, given him a good half hour, and now I have to go and ask again which constitutes nagging.
And he has used my lemon mayo- another thing I am going to have to hide in the fridge as Ive only got 1.5 bottles left and it will be months before its back in Aldi with the summer foods.
I need several hours in the garden to recover my composure“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Try lighting a couple of candles in the kitchen to deal with the smell.

Big hugs. I feel for you. Families dont seem to be able to allow Mum to have time to enjoy things. You should still be in the glow of the wedding and enjoying your memories of it. Instead you are having do deal with his mess. Btw did he get married last week before his sister's wedding?0 -

Nectar point credited and binliners are here:)
Bonus indeed!
BONUS! You earned 5,000 Pts at VikingNo, unfortunately I was rejected as they said GC don't count. So I am now going to order more GC (plus something cheap as suggested by SnS) and give them a spanking (if it pays off) as it is personal now.

has anyone done multiple orders for the 5000 points, can I do the 3000 and 2000 too!? TIA"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

W have sent me 4x £5 off £50 vouchers
.
I am not sure when I would ever spend £50 in one transaction in any supermarket, never mind W.

3 lots of the 3 for £10 meat, a paper, a mag and a coffee would take you over £50 threshold but with discounts, PYO and careful planning actual spend would be easily under £25.
I got 4x £6 off £30"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Its a while since I did a W shop and my memory is a bit vague ! Do you take the full non multibuy price for the meat to calculate the running total or is it a straight £10 per batch ? I do remember that the prices before PYO though. Thanks.ELITE 5:2
