Re Sunny Life, I can confirm it does pay out after 1st payment. No need to contact them to cancel, just cancel your Direct Debit. Just check to make sure you enter your correct telephone number so they can pester you to keep policy on ;) .
I have been looking into this type of insurance and will post full information ONCE I get results, no point in posting speculation at the moment. And waiting for results may save wasting money needlessly.
Once again I can confirm Sunny Life do pay out quickly, no need to contact them, just cancel DD once gift received, possibly a few telephone calls from them and a few letters ending in a confirmation of cancellation.

I had a few policies some years ago when you could get a tv or a gift voucher. They usually paid after 4 payments. Maybe time for another policy!!

    Morning.

This should make them £1.75 a pack after APG - I think. All the sunshine I have had may have affected my sums.

Arrived back into Manchester last night - never seen such a security presence and armed Police in Immigration.

    Morning all :)
School hats - we had to wear a beret in winter and a boater in summer  :D but only in the first year, what a waste of money.

ETA my parents kept the boater as it was expensive and "you never know when you might need it." I wore it, suitably decorated, to the 1984 FA Cup Final :rotfl:
