Yes hoping everyone is safe, glad your friends dd is safe x

So so lucky, i just said to dh these people started off having a normal day, going to work/day out etc and not coming back :(:(

So true. bubbs. Brings stuff into perspective. I knew nothing about London today, till a short time ago. Was feeling so thankful for myself (selfish I know), plane went to land and then immediately went back up, extremely fast. Dreadful ear pain, children screaming, feared the worse :o After the plane stabilized, the pilot apologised and advised that they had to take evasive action as another plane was in our flight path and wasn't moving. They had little choice if they didn't want a collision. I am very lucky.:o

My son just called to say he was working from home today ( he works for msn news) and usually finishes at 5 but didn't not finish till 9.30 and was on his way out for a pint. When his wife got back from work she realised she had crossed Westminster bridge in a cab 5 minutes before the attack. Very sad day for all concerned
    Glad they are ok xxx

Glad the pilot did the right thing, else we would have another new story today as well, not a nice one either.

Today I learnt that I could block calls on my home phone using BTs free call protect service. I did not know that this had been launched in January. You log into your account.... then you can add individual numbers, or block certain categories...i.e. international, unavailable etc. Thought I would share that with you all, as I did not even know the service was available. Ignore me if you were all aware, and I have just been asleep :)
Yes I did this a few weeks ago juju. I think it has been mentioned in Martin weekly email. More details here -
