Looks lovely I can imagine a line of slow cookers in the kitchen.

Big thanks to however posted about the over 50s plan giving £75 amazon voucher after first payment. Mine came today so £71 up.

It's all weddings this week. Thought our girl looked really fab but her oh s smile lit up the photo. I have knowledge of that anvil.

Been for a routine mammogram today. The woman doing it and I agree on one thing - men really ought to have it done on a certain area, at least they would find out what we have to go through :rotfl::rotfl:
So true, and it may do something regarding testicular cancer..
On a lighter note, my dear friend went into the garage (filling station) on Sunday and asked the young lad at the counter if 'He had any balls' ...
She realised after seeing his very affronted look that she really hadn't explained herself. She was taking her dog out and had left her ball at home... :rotfl:

    Well what an emotional day.
Firstly was reminded on fb that my sister narrowly missed being in Brussels this time last year when they had attacks there. She had left Brussels that morning.

Secondly my mum had a CT head scan a week ago as GP suspected her cancer had spread. Took mum to get result today and luckily there is no spread of cancer :j:j

Thirdly had just came out of seeing mums oncologist and was about to let family know the good news and it was just breaking about Westminster. Sister I mentioned above works in Westminster was in a lock down. Later found out another sister that works near tower london , her office was in lock down too  . Both back home safe now phew.
Emotional day here too .. as I have posted DS would have been in Brussels airport when it all kicked off if his office hadn't [STRIKE]mucked up [/STRIKE]got things right!
So pleased that tabout the news re your mum and that your sister is safe.

I am not a hat person either, yet my sister loves hats:rotfl:
When I was doing my qualification course there was a fellow student who always looked so smart and would wear a hat... I tried it once, what the hell do you do with it once you are in doors and your hair then looks carp!

    Afternoon All :)

Do we all know that Morries have joints of pork for £3 per kg? :D

No I don't think we did but thank you.
Was in Morries earlier looking for beef joint. Rarely cook it and normally pay a fortune for perfect bit. Found some nice looking joints that say they are 'salmon' cut:eek: not really sure what they mean as not a traditional cut but looked nice for the money so mum is getting beef on sunday. Wanted to do something they don't normally have.
Mum insisted on buying her own horseradish. Then after lunch we will be watching Hidden Figures as mum so wants to see it.

My son works for msn news but luckily was working from home today. He usually finishes at 5 but called me at 9.30 to say he'd just finished and was going for a pint as he was so wound up from reporting the terrible news. His wife realised when she got home she had crossed Westminster bridge in a cab 5 minutes before it happened. Son said she was a bit shaken up to realise that. Very sad day for dell concerned

    Westminster....feeling edgey:o

How brave are our emergency services?

The Met Commissioner witnessed one of the incidents.....surely not a coincidence

Feeling very proud of my DN, she said that it's all in a days work. Love her.

Oh I like hats but they just don't like me :rotfl: I would love to be able to wear one but they all just look so awful. We had to wear a 'pork pie' hat at school and I had to have the biggest one in the shop:eek:
    Well done Poppy :T
You have my sympathy Nellie, we were a 'hat school' too.. Instant detention if you were caught on your way to or from school without one! I also had/have a big head!
