Morning everyone!
Quick question, i did my first sharpies C&C last week, they were subbed so i rejected them straight away. I haven't had the refund or my APG yet, am i being over eager or should i be chasing them (its been 4 days)
to get my refund I had to go on my original email open it, then open it again on the link where it says ...change to your order, and then there was another link and then drop down boxes to claim the refund..
I don't know if its the same for everyone ?
..and sorry if its already been answered0 -

Sorry to come on here to have a moan again.
I read some of the adversities that many of you have to deal with and feel such empathy with you, but haven't got the words or energy to express how much I sympathise.
The situation with Mum seems to be deteriorating. She is in constant pain and becoming less mobile, is very unsteady on her feet and won't leave the house. Totally refuses to try a wheelchair and wouldn't even attempt to cross the front door with a Physio from the Falls Clinic.
Her memory is rapidly declining and she is having difficulty finding the words she wants to say.
Yesterday she asked me to get "the 4 fruits from the cocktail dish" but couldn't say where I was to find them. Turned out she actually meant the punnet of nectarines from the fridge.
She also got very angry with me for making her "think" about paperwork I had spent hours working on (through the night) at home; after she asked me to explain what I had managed to sort out.
I always thought I would be able to cope with a physical decline, but to see her loosing her ability to think and function is so hard and I really don't know were to turn or what to do for the best. Except I will breath my last breath before I consider a Care Home.0 -

Awww bless, that sounds like the perfect day for you, cake, comics and crafts.
C'est la vie! I consoled myself by buying some reduced paint in B&Q and ingredients to batch cook a spaghetti bolognaise. Just waiting for the veggies to roast before I chuck them in.
I also popped into Argos and they've put the wrapping paper back up to £2.99. I'm not sure if that's everywhere or just that branch.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

What! Occasionally one episode will disappear if they are working on it. Should reappear quite quickly and remember laptop through facebook is generally 2 episodes ahead of phone and tablet.

Hugs Saversue.
My mum is 94 so I know exactly how you feel. I just try to remember if it's hard for me it's hard for mum too. She gets so frustrated not being able to find the right words. She can't see well, she is very deaf, and can only walk a short distance. Not much of a life is it?
Wishing you lots of strength, patience and wisdom to cope.:A0 -
