I don't know when i last did an intentional instore apg so i need help
If something is £2 instore (no multi) and £3.97 online (no multi) does instore apg see the £2 paid?
I'm hoping for near free Irn Bru but i think i'm kidding myself hereApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »7 days, potentially (including today if the APG picked up the item as unavailable in either of the two updates for the first time today). It could compare indefinitely if, for some reason, the APG scraping system doesn't pick up the marking that the product is unavailable but picks up the £1.00 price showing on the page. I think the risk is more if the product reappears in stock at a much higher price [...]
Well, there we are: still comparing (as of this morning), weeks after I thought it might end. It could well be the highlighted situation (but what do I know?). I suspect the product page is still somewhere on W's website with the £1 price but showing "Unavailable".0 -

Yes. Sorry, I think you are kidding yourself. I have seen a hopeless 2 for £2 'offer' on Irn Bru though - I know that's no good:(.0 -

Is Meridian Free From White Wine & Mushroom Cooking Sauce (350g) "free" in M at the moment? I have a SEL for it for 20p RTC and there is supposed to be 20p More points on "all" Free From products at the moment.
Or have I picked up a SEL with no stock right at the end and the product now gone back up? Best of luck if anyone can find stock. I do have another Meridian cooking sauce on store specific 47p - RTC shelf stock - but the national price of that is £1.87. Although there is supposed to be 20p More points on Free From, the points may not be automatically awarded on store specific stickered reductions.whoopsies as the BC will not recognise that it is a Free From item that is being bought. I bought a pack of whoopsied Free From Cookies (v.long date) recently and the points did not appear on the receipt, although I don't collect them anyway.
There could of course be other Meridian sauces somewhere on national RTC - the £1.87 sauce I tried clearly wasn't (or if it is, the price wasn't any good for me) - I have probably come across an incomplete range of SELs in my stores and I find new items all the time. So, someone could certainly have some other Meridian on national RTC elsewhere (that is not whoopsied/RTC shelf store-specific stock). All I know is that I saw 20p RTC on the SEL for the Meridian white wine & mushroom and that the More points on Free From offer is being advertised at several stores at the moment (including a large hoarding outside at least one store). I think it's fresh and frozen - I have seen 20p More points SEL across frozen items as well as in the Gluten Free etc. fresh items range. Of course, even if you manage to find the Meridian product and manage to find it at 20p and get the points, you are still paying 20p - the 'points' go towards other purchases from them at whatever time they make up a £5 voucher, at some point, interest-free loan to them, in the future. So, if you are happy giving them money to get something from them in exchange for a paper voucher in the future, and charging them no interest on the money...
Meanwhile - I thought it may have gone back up but it hasn't - Stagg Classic Chilli with Potato Wedges tin (380g) is 25p RTC as of yesterday. I have found a store with a lot of stock - with a label for Stagg Classic Chilli (400g) at £1.80 next to it! That is Stagg Classic Chilli Con Carne, not on reduction, I suspect someone in the store has helpfully confused the two products (thus leaving me with lots of stock of the RTC product:T). The Classic Chilli with Potato Wedges was 25p yesterday - likely is today - and the BBQ Chilli with Potato Wedges from earlier, which appeared online but has long since gone, I think will still be 25p somewhere if anyone still has that. So I think there are two Stagg tinned products on 25p RTC in M currently and one of them, at least, confirmed yesterday.Savvybuyer wrote: »Stagg BBQ Chilli with Potato Wedges (380g)25p

Who knows if there could be even more? The non-highlighted one was found earlier and also appeared on hotukdeals and online on m.com and msm several months ago. It has long since gone from online but could still be around somewhere. They could even go cheaper on RTC shelves. Did anyone notice I added the other one more recently? One store, on 22nd February, made me aware of it with a SEL but no stock. I now have lots of stock with a SEL for a different product yesterday:rotfl:.

Really?:rotfl: I would not be so quick to "expire" it. I do not have any evidence of it in M now but I feel there has got to be some unit of stock around kicking around somewhere even a couple of months on. It will have been missed - it will be behind other stock, at the back of the shelf, mixed in with some other variety of the Stagg range, or somewhere on an RTC shelf. I don't think they know about the Classic Chilli with Wedges on there yet. So that's one that can be a secret one, between me and you:rotfl:. If it turns up from someone on hotukdeals, at random, it could be someone bought one thinking it was £1.80 and happened to look at their receipt (people rarely do that though!) and saw it had gone through at 25p. Offer (at least on the BBQ) was supposed to be on until 10th April (I think it reasonable to imagine the "Classic" version might be the same end date - although it could be even later if this has gone onto RTC later on or they could just do anything at random at their own 'whenever they feel like it' time or just to have us thinking one thing that may not be the case).0 -
