I think this is possibly only the second parking fine I've ever had. I wriggled out of a fine at a retail park one Christmas as I could show successfully that I'd spent the entire day shopping and eating there .....by producing receipts ........thanks to DM for the advice on that one.
I was able to prove that the store in question had benefitted financially from my visit and that I wasn't just hogging a space.
But this one I'm just going to pay the £40 and walk away from it. I haven't got the time/ motivation/ energy for an argument. There's too much going on in life and it's a niggle I can do without.
I will be like hawk eye in future:rotfl:
Having appealed 4 parking fines over Christmas (one of them I did deserve, but appealed on the basis the sign was partially covered up - the other 3 was due to NCP not being arsed to check I had paid by phone), I would say appeal it. How many hours would you have to work to pay off that fine?'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

They all say Bronze, whatever that means, and there are 7 of them ranging from 20p to £10 and they total £18.90 which is right. Don't know why they split it up.
They come in the same denominations as banknotes and coins, ie 1p to £50, and you don't need to use them all at the same time
