I was there having a nose round a couple of weekends ago, as part of a "national tour" (so it feels) of similar establishments. Did 4 in the area that weekend, and was on the south coast at another last weekend.

Another favourite of mine is the Parkinson Clock Tower in Leeds. Nowhere near as tall at 187 feet but has such a great Art Deco feel about it. Have you visited this one?

Just going through the stuff that DD brought back from uni.....just opened a Surf 33 wash glitching from goodness knows back when and the tabs are breaking down into a gooey mess at the bottom of the pack.....if anyone has these it might be worth bringing them to the front of your storage:D

I heard that story too - my nephew attended there, finishing about 3 years ago.


Not been to Leeds so far, as it is not on the target list.


Exam result in August will determine the next steps, and whether 2 renowned river located establishments near-ish to London are achievable

Not very :money: but I decided to drive to Lidl to get some Brie and 4 cheese and onion rolls . Supper tonight whilst watch Big Brother and I'll add a bottle of wine :cool:
