    I will be having a quiet day on my own but had a lovely meal out with dog rescue friends last night, the place didn't know what had hit them :eek: and I celebrated with Steve, Andy and Kit last week :j

    But I might be tempted out to Asda for this /\ and the Felix if still working :rotfl:

    Just heard an advert on the radio but didnt catch the dates, 25% off when you buy 6 bottles of wine at Sada, anyone know how this will compare on an APG?

    afternoon all

    eldest child is looking at houses, yes totally crackers I know but I don't think there will ever be a right time

    she sent me a link for a mid terrace property which initially looks nice and light and airy and nicely liveable with a courtyard garden - the price looked a bit steep though - £185 thousand

    so I looked at the historic prices via right move and worked out which one it was and in November 2015 it was for sale at £165 thousand. I also looked at the photos and compared as much as I could to see if I could see any substance all improvements, same bathroom, same cooker, same boiler, same doors etc
    but they are looking to make an extra £20 thousand from selling :eek:

    so I said avoid this one :)

    hopefully eldest child is not going to send me masses of photos and links all weekend :)

    You made me laugh mhoc, as troublesome as it is she only wants your expertise :). When ds3 bought his first house he was the same, pictures and info every day :rotfl: :rotfl: quite honestly I enjoyed it and felt so pleased he had involved us so much :cool: at least that way he got our advice and the haggler that I am haggled for the one they preferred as the chap selling told us it was his aunts home and she had left it to him :D
