    For your information:
Asda Price Guarantee comparisons are based on prices correct as of date of delivery (online shoppers) or date of purchase (in store customers).
Where a product comparison price is N/A, either, a) the independent agencies that collect the price data have not found an equivalent product at the named competitor, based on the comparison criteria (see Terms & Conditions) ; or b) the product is part of a particular promotion which makes it difficult for a fair comparison to be made (see Terms & Conditions).
Comparisons are limited to a maximum of 10 items per product and 10Kg for items sold by weight.
All prices displayed in red are net of any multibuys savings or discounts. For example items that are £1.47 each which are part of a "2 for £2.50" promotion will be shown at £1.25 each where the customer buys the required quantity. They may therefore be a different price to that shown on your receipt or delivery note.
Any items of George clothing or Home and Leisure items are excluded from this comparison.
Please see Terms & Conditions for a full list of exclusions and further information.
    Here's your voucher for £50.55Why £50.55?
We don't like being beaten on price. That's why, if we're not 10% cheaper than more than one competitor, we'll always give you the voucher for the largest amount.

My SD had these or similar but marked as £1.69 - I wish now that I'd taken them to the desk to see what they scanned at - my store is too small to have SS tills
There was an assistant arranging labels when I went there and she said Wednesday is the day clearance items get reduced - I wonder if this is an automatic updating of the barcodes from HQ ..

Our store also had quite a lot of self tanning items on the clearance section

So rather than moping about this morning I forced myself to be productive this morning - wrapped an amazon parcel up, sorted out the SIPP, paid the coal bill and even made a payment to Scottish Power as we were going well into debit. Grim business paying bills.

Then we went into town and took 2 wine boxes of bric a brac and 2 bags of stuff to the charity shop, took the post to the Post Office and then went to neros for our free hot chocolates :T

We have a small hallmark Thornton's store in town which is not on the O2 location map. I went and asked anyway and they accepted our free codes - a bit of a faff as they wrote them down, names and phone numbers as well - no idea why - only 5 minutes to use the codes. But we came away with a bag of chocolate gingers for OH and chocolate marzipan for me, worth £3 each :T

Then we dropped into Morrisons as I had something to return and exchange but the CS was busy and just gave me the money back :D So I got the bit of shopping anyway including ginger beer - OH now drinks it instead of coke or pepsi - 2 bottles for 80p

Out of the catalina pops a till spit and it is OHs birthday present from Morrison's - a bar of Morrison posh chocolate and so I go back and get the Seville orange chocolate one :D
(no I didn't get a birthday till spit from Morrisons  )

so not a bad day after all ...

There were some that looked very similar but had full price SELs mhoc do not sure if this is a change if packaging.

I've mentioned before SD is the same day as Sainsbobs (20p stuff) for updating. Mostly across the board but the odd thing has caught me put before like face wash in my local was 27p at one time but still over £1 in DDs store (did get it checked at the time) and the zoella lip balm Snap reported 10p was 75p in mine. But I mostly find the same reductions here in Surrey as at home.

Yay. I now have a new kettle, courtesy of sharpies. Yes it's only a £5 basic one but at least I don't have to boil water in a pan on the hob for another week. Easily pleased.
