Evening all
Have finally caught up after a spot of skipping.
Happy Birthday DM
Visit from N earlier today then she was off to get SIPP advice. Mentioned it to Mum and she thinks getting me a SIPP is a really good idea (great way to syphon off the £3000 a year they can 'gift' me which eventually means less inheritance tax to pay) Yes all a bit confusing to me but makes sense to her. Also if I have a SIPP aren't the funds free from inheritance tax from my estate?
Property puts you so close to the limit when you are unmarried.
Busy day doing washing after my very busy week but all slows down tomorrow as going in to have my other foot done so will be sat here for next 4-6 weeks. Think freezer is stocked with easy to cook on one foot basics and have enough flavoured water to sink a battle ship so mum doesn't have to worry about supplies.
Must get my esta done tonight ready for florida end of may. DD keeps reminding me but I keep forgetting.

Hi, I found this very interesting.
Apparently is up to individual banks after Legal Tender Status ends, for old £5.00 notes that's 5th May 2017, which isn't that long.
Bank of England will always take them.
