I think it's our own responsibility to learn more about this and decide whether it's for us. Both you and matty have been been soooooo helpful .
Thank you
I have been reading this tonight. The trouble is everyone's financial situation is completely different so you cannot give one answer which will be right for everyone. I think pensions are more complicated than glitching. Good luck everyone with what you decide.0 -

Me too please.
Am I right in thinking if you pay tax the amount paid to you is reduced and is it still worth while, if you only pay a small amount of tax ?
I have looked but can't get my fuddled brain round it.0 -
! It looks like they've put this back up. I was hoping it would be available at A and comparable - I found it at £1.25 (RTC), quite expensive given that it's a 'small' bottle.
Ezpanna Tempranillo (187ml)
£2.00 £1.07 / 100ml
Looking at the price graph on msm (even though I don't trust such things), it's shown as regularly being £1.50 for many months, then going up to £2 in mid-December, before coming straight down to £1.25 and remaining at that until the week of 19th February when it shoots right up to £2 and remains at that price ever since. I can't help but think that it may have been put up to £2 for a short time in December in order to claim a bigger reduction - from £2 instead of £1.50 - when it went to £1.25 and that it's shot up to £2 most recently - instead of long-held £1.50 price - maybe in order to pay for the last two months when it was 25p lower than that more regular (in the last twelve months) price. (So, in effect the two months of £1.25 are all paid for by the people that now pick it up and buy it at £2 unaware that it has been £1.50, or even £1.25, before. Post-the lowest price, it's now been £2, the highest price, for the longest period in the last twelve months according to msm. I just can't help but think that they pay for some of these 'offers' by whacking up the prices to compensate for them afterwards. Which really - if you just buy more or less the same items every week, you feel good when there is an offer on but, afterwards, continuing to buy the product, you are paying for, sometimes more than paying for, that offer but it may not stand out as much that it's price has shot up as part of your much bigger shop. It's all psychology I am sure. There may be something else then on offer in your shop but something else is now full price, probably cancelling each other out.)0 -
