    Evening All,

Very annoying this as I'd just opened 4 accounts and set up a load of standing orders to feed my other accounts to meet their deposit requirements.

If they let me I will open a tesco current account as they have said their 3% will stay for at another 2 years but tesco have currently suspended new applications.

I think what we all need is an old fashioned bond where you can put little lump sums - not going to happen i think

Monthly savers are worth looking at though eg - Virgin money, Nationwide have a 2% regular saver ...

I think my change to Wednesdays (although not able to do them as much as before) has turned out better. As mentioned before, M's offers are now mainly ending on Tuesdays. It seems, from what I've been updating - the expiry dates are on msm - there is a big change after 21st March, so my 22nd March, that I am trying to arrange, seems a good day. There are also some offers ending 7th March so I might try 8th March if I can manage that as an interim although I think I won't be able to see some parts of the list then. If I can see 8th March, it's probably going to be a useless three stores. A bit like TBG maybe:rotfl:.

There have been a number of items whose prices appear to have crept up this week in M - they just can't keep them down:(. If I have got to the items after msm has changed to the new prices, I have omitted them from the list but I can tell you there were quite a number. In fact, M had me saying all sorts of good and appropriate words last night, none of which I can tell you on here. So that you all know what I mean:rotfl:. The beggars (now, that's not the word I chose:D, and I didn't even choose a word very close to that as that would just not be good enough:D:D) seem to have put up in price so many items! In fact, I had to use one of the words four times in a row because, as an intensifier nowadays, it fails, through common use in the last twenty years, to intensify much although I suspect that that's not the case for everyone. It was the same in my car on a recent total lack of rage incident (I just like saying this other word, I wasn't angry, I was totally calm) - I suddenly realised that nothing coming out of my mouth these days was bad enough and there just is nothing I can do to be harsh or emphatic enough, although I guess it would not be the same had I gone up to the elderly guy in front and told them to their face:rotfl:. Which of course I could never do! Just :eek:beware of Savvy if you get caught in front of me:rotfl::rotfl:. I'm lethal, except that I'm not (I just liking saying things when I am entirely unheard by anyone else). I've told of the cases when other drivers have shouted supposedly less serious things (but still, allegedly, serious) at me and it just makes me laugh. I just could not do this myself*. I had one and I think I cut them up at a roundabout in error - sorry:o - but having had the amusing phrase shouted out of the window, which attempted but failed to insult me, I just disappeared down the other exit of the roundabout. And then laughed at what I'd been called - I found it hilarious (I should not, but I did). Just wish I could have got out and told him how much he'd made my day:rotfl::rotfl:.

*I do think this is, for me, related to my Asperger's - because, for most people, things come out unthought about and people, bizarrely to me, unaware that they are even saying something (I do not know, from my POV, how that could happen) but, with me, unless it's a special interest on which I am waffling or an automatic "sorry" if I'm bumped into, or an automatic "thank you" to the cashier giving me my change, I am always aware of every word since I have to think about every word I say in advance - most people they are emotional part of the brain not academic or it's intuitive that I don't have but I think that, in me, they do, indeed, go through the academic part of my brain and thus won't even come out at all - unlike most people that, it now seems to me, are somehow saying things unawares:eek:. I must have a lot of extreme self-control:rotfl::rotfl:.

Has anyone gone through the verification process for receipt pig yet?

I have tried this morning but not got anywhere. Its asks for your mobile number and you are then supposed to get a verification code by text but mine has not arrived
I have no data left on my phone but as its an incoming text it should not affect it should it should it???? - an incoming text ?

I am working on the home wi fi

Otherwise I will have to wait until the 7th. I've sent them a message via their support system although I don't suppose it will make any difference:(.

Well I had several attempts through this afternoon and I was getting codes 2 hours later which were useless as you need to input them within 30 mins.
Then it occurred to me that you don't put the first 0 of your phone number in so I tried this and a code came straight away :T
Why did no one tell me this
I had a reply to the support message I sent at 11.30 tonight telling me exactly this - I could have done with that info this afternoon :(

This morning I went up a level so I got 30 free spins of the bandit machine. :T I got quite a few small wins of 10 and 20 coins :T
I also had one big win of 2000 coins :j
My grand total then shot up to nearly 2700 hence the need to get verified.
But looking at the rewards page I might as well carry on collecting as I will have enough in a week or 2 for £10 Amazon or Paypal :T

My last drawdown was £5 in paypal only in January so well worth the effort of receipt snapping :)

I suppose it is reducing the number of items that are going onto the list if M is discovered to have put the price up since:cool:. So that I will have less to check next time:j. In theory:rotfl:.

They had me saying all sorts of things (things that I usually say:rotfl:) here at home last night. I stand by everything that I said of a supermarket that puts its prices up though, as I have the courage of my conviction that it was right and appropriate. It simply reflected my own dismay as I discovered the increased prices on msm. It reflected none of the members of staff, who are doing their job and - at least as far as I know - are good people. So, not aimed at any individual who was not present in my home and the supermarket itself just doing its job of trying to make money but - we're all entitled to frustration about that in our own homes:rotfl:. In my view. As long as we don't take it out on and physically assault any of those around us, always limits.

I think it was the Toilet Ducks that got me second-most, behind an item that had gone back from £1 offer to £2:eek:. Putting M on a higher price than anywhere else. Those Toilet Ducks (the 750ml cleaners) I seem to be catching every few weeks at £1 instore but they keep going back to £1.25 whenever I'm not there it seems:(. They've done that on two consecutive occasions now:mad: - that's what got me the most! Unless I had incorrect SELs last week:rotfl:. So, apparently now back at £1.25:( until 7th March. That does seem like part of the "cleaning event" (their words). They seem to have gone up in price from £1 offer before to be on the cleaning event at higher price. They're Avs T at £1 though, and pretty useless as A is £1 at the moment:rotfl:. Really should be £1.40 in A!

EDIT: No, msm has it wrong - it's looking at the price on some Bleach cleaners but the regular Toilet Duck 750mls (both Pine and Marine) are still £1 (according to m.com). I've just looked as the 'was' price on msm seemed unrealistic. So, they are on after all:cool: and all that swearing last night for nothing:rotfl::rotfl:. I still stand by it though:rotfl:. So, the Toilet Ducks go back onto the list:). Bloody msm:rotfl::rotfl:. I don't think these Toilet Ducks have gone up in price recently - I think they have been continuously £1 in M for several months.

I've removed the Birds Eye Veg. Nuggets and the Birds Eye 4 Light & Crunchy Chicken because, not only am I running out of space again:eek: (I think it's more that some posts of the list are becoming full and items needing to be moved to other posts), the BB dates on all the stock I have seen (up to a week ago) have been February 2017. I suspect others of the frozen RTC items need to be removed too as their dates will be up although I am not aware of them. At least the removal of the two helps get rid of something and I'm not having to move them to "lost" only to move them to found again later and just never getting the list down, so in that sense it helps me:rotfl:. I'm going to have to remove the Fondest Fancies as well, not long after they have been put on - only been there for about half a week - as their dates I think will be up as well now. Things like Festive cakes might well be effectively up soon, if not already - so these RTCs can be, quite soon, removed.

A's Cheese & Onion Rolls (6 per pack - 360g) may be against M at £1 (although there's a weight adjustment there somewhere that should be more favourable) but SP Cheese & Onion Rolls (8 per pack - 480g) should be A 95p vs T £1, so ought to work out cheaper. Therefore, the standard range not getting to the M list but just to let you know the equivalent M item is currently back at £1.

In fact, if M's are 400g then they should be no compare as they fall outside the weight range; however I think they are slightly lower than 400g so are within weight (I don't think the weights are marked on the M packs these days - msm says 396g which is exactly on the weight limit range at the upper end). However, all irrelevant as it's vs T on SP:rotfl:.
