That is all well and good, but if veganism is not eating anything produced by animals they do not consume, then why not drink milk?

For a few years I did not drink milk.... but then again I just ate veg/pulses/nuts. Then eggs/milk creeped in. But since eating meat I no longer worry about animals etc. I have adopted the view that if people did not eat meat there would be very few animals that would be born/enjoy life. It is amazing how my views have changed... but it has been over 30 years in the process.

The Beatrix Potter coins seem thin on the ground here in Suffolk but I think that's because when these coins are released they aren't released countrywide. It's done gradually, just my opinion :D
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

I had this argument with a (now ex) vegetarian. He argued that we should not eat meat because the animals had a right to life. I replied that the only reason a lot are alive is because we breed them to eat. I might also have mentioned that we were actually designed to eat meat and that is the way the body works. I told him we were put on this earth to control the quantities of various animals so they don't overbreed and do themselves out of territory, same as lions etc.
