My nice delivery driver knew all about the sharpies. He and I chatted, my last pay rise was 1% about 3 years ago. he only got a rise to keep him above minimum wage, wonder what the chief executive got?

    Hi all,

I've got a couple of orders to pick up after work.

Are you saying he knew there was some kind of glitch?

    Cheers,

M&S dine in ends today, but I have just found that if you buy two deals and buy the Pinot Grigio Cells Venezie 2015 which are in the deal and are also 2 for £12 though may not be labeled as such. This takes deal down to £16 for two deals, not sure if any of the sides etc can bring it lower. Very little choice of the mains left though.:)

I had a look at the wines instore last week but couldn't fathom if any were in both offers so thanks josie for finding one, I wondered if my 20% off Italian meals in my sparks would work on the lasagne but without knowing a working wine I didn't try it.

I won't be going to try it today either as unfortunately Pinot Grigio is not my wine of choice. :o

thanks for this, we are near a Simply Food later so I am wondering wether to pop in but now I think I have talked myself into it :D.
I am thinking that the apple pies feed more than 2 and can be frozen. I also tend to get the rostis and freeze them, they go well with Sunday night sausages.
Of the mains the cottage pie and the lasagne look Ok and might freeze - as you say the issue is with the lack of mains.
I suppose with 2 bottles of wine its not bad value for £16

mhoc check you sparks offers, you never know the 20% off italian might work too. I did check and the lasagne marked "main" was exactly the same weight (think 730g but I might be wrong) as the ones in the Italian range in the chiller.

I'm wondering if I'm missing something with these loo rolls?

Only they seem expensive to me, I pay £2 for 9 or £3.99 for 18 at Home Bargains for 3ply Nicky Elite which are very high quality.

I think that's where you are going wrong :rotfl:

Had a little sleet here this morning, not much more than you get in a snow globe, all gone now, so if that is to be our token nod to the winter, that's fine by me.

Posted Fleabay item yesterday. Then nipped to office with expenses claim, then on to my child-minding stint with the grandchildren, again we had a device-free evening, cooked dinner, bedtime stories, Cluedo etc, all good. I also managed to put all the washing through (5 loads on quickwash) from their weekend away, so that's given DD a head start to the week.

Raining now, but I have the delightful task of choosing what to do for the next few days as I'm using up the last of my leave for this year. :D It's just nice being at home and even better getting paid for it. :D

I must be the only one not to have bought any razors, never done a C&C at Sada, must give it a whirl sometime.

New glasses cost nearly £300 so I'm on Frugal Street for a few weeks. Should have done some razors to offset this, but I was too busy last week so I have not really got my head round it.

No Seren you are not the only one, I have not bought any razors and just like you have never done a C&C. We could start a list but think we might be the only 2 on it. :rotfl:

I am doing it wrong too , that's what I pay from SD, although I did get a 9 pack 6p cheaper from waites last week. :D

Who is collecting the badges this week, think I should hand mine in. :o

    Good Afternoon all

Tiny...I'm number 3 on your new list.... I've never done any form of online shopping at supermarkets let alone one that might produce an APG....and this current batch of razors is passing me by.

not a lot happening here today so I'll fade away and chirp up when necessary!!!
