I've had a quick catchup but I've visitors in an hour so need to rush. Happy birthday Tweets and Midwinter. Bubbs, I hope all has gone well today.

Weekend with Mum is looking up. Cheap tickets for the ballet at the Lowry on Saturday night (though she is deaf she really enjoys this) and we are going to see a StudyBed on Sunday evening as I am thinking this might transform my spare room, give me more cupboard space (3 more IKEA tall wardrobes), a sewing space and an organised-looking spare room. It's expensive, but if it does all that I think it will be worth it.

a bit like this???? This looks fab, perfect for the occasional visitor, but even better to have a neat craftroom/hobby room or a study

    I've already nearly amassed 40 items +

Just tackled the glasses cupboard - so many promotional glasses :o
    Mugs too :o:o

    Domestos PVC apron :o

I freecycled our excess glasses as a job lot in a wine box and the same with the extra mugs.
That was the first cull but I will probably go back and do a 2nd again another time as they tend to breed :)

Ive ended up after todays bedroom tidy up with a full to bursting bag on the dining room table - forgot to get more charity bags when I was in on Friday :( and a far too large cardboard box for bric a brac but now I've started it I've got to fill it but only with light things so I can actually stagger from the car park to the shop with it :)

  • If I have £30 e vouchers, buy 10 madam guillotine's (£50) and £10 fillers, so spend of £60, £30 vouchers and £30 debit card. What if no guillotines? would I get £20 vouchers back (£10 taken for fill.ers) and £30 debit card payment not taken, AND an APG for £41?

Confusing I know, but Should only be charged £10, just unsure with evouchers involved in payment

Just sat waiting for a phone call from the hospital. So I will post while I can:)

He's still there from 8.30 this morning. The doctors decided early that he would need an operation but couldn't do anything until the swelling went down. He was due to go down(apologies:D) at 2.45 but everything must be running late. I called in straight after work to be told that he was still in theatre but should be ready to come home in a few hours.

    I have butterflies:o

If I disappear I WILL return later for some birthday cake.

Hope the birthday girls are putting on a buffet...it's save me cooking:)

Happy Birthday tweets and Midwinter, hope you enjoy your special day.

Had a bit of a calamity yesterday.
Was trying to womble an Asda receipt and fell into the bushes up a small incline :shocked:
Couldn't get up no matter how hard I tried, but was just glad it was closing time and Car Park virtually empty, so no one to see me :o
Then started to panic as didn't have bag or phone with me

After some time a group of teenage lads walked across the car park and somehow saw me in the bushes. All I could think was they were going to video me and put it on Facebook or similar.

But they came over asked if I was OK and 2 of them helped me up, so embarrassing, but they were :A

    Oh Sue.....I'm having a chuckle...thought it was sal posting:rotfl::rotfl:
