I called amazon last night as all 3 of my bags have been reduced and as they have not been dispatched asked for the difference back, I was told uncertainly "no", as that is the chance I take.:(

Bubbs, hope today is filled with special memories.

Happy Birthday Tweets and Midwinter, have a lovely day. xx

Good morning all, raining here, and we are supposed to be sorting out a TV aerial later

Hope everyone is OK or at least improving.

In a separate room from my OH who was snoring like a drain :( Unfortunately that was not an option as the only spare bed we have is DDs old one and I can't get comfy on it

Good luck to your OH, hope things look better this morning xx

Westy, hope you have a brilliant time in NZ, would love to go there, the scenery looks amazing.

Happy birthday Tweets and Midwinter :bdaycake::bdaycake:

Same here mhoc, several nights I decamp to DS3s old room to sleep, or try to. If I start to cough DH wakes and asks 'what's wrong?'  I find it difficult to sleep right through lately and admit I shuffle so much due to arthritic pain. The coughing is due to COPD and asthma :o. He snores like a bear and shuffles his feet, pulls on the duvet so I have to grab it back. It makes sense on these sort of nights to decamp because he won't

He moans now and says the same as yours, he can't sleep without me, awwwwwww, poor man :rotfl:

I think as we get older its not a bad thing to have separate beds or even rooms. Before Oh left in 2008 we had got single beds and when he returns next month we will be having separate rooms. Still in our case our relationship has changed somewhat and I dont think I would want to be in same bed again. Im more of a fidget at night and I dont sleep well. And I love having my double bed to myself.
In other news SIL is off to finally have the ear op tommorow after 2 cancellations. Bit worried as this is the worse ear and he will be in a lot of pain and discomfort for a week or so.

    Good morning all...

Happy birthday dearest tweets and midwinter....

TM ...hope Mr TM had a good night after his nasty accident and all mends well and soon.

Enterprise and bubbs...the gentle hugs are for both of you today to spread as needed round your family xx

We had a lovely weekend with DS....he slept most of it away but interspersed with the sleep we did catch up on quite a bit and I'm very happy that he seems to be in a good place and enjoying life at the moment.....taking him back to uni is always difficult but yesterday I knew he was returning to somewhere he wants to be!

We are going to have a go at frugal March...although dry Feb everyother day has slipped a little bit so my aim is 3 dry days in any 7 and see how that pans out.

Update on the toiletries challenge is 6 in and 3 out last week...
The 6 in were 4 deos cheap but not pennies in S and also needed...and 2 items to test....although as yet I am still unsure what the 2 test items actually are supposed to be so may struggle to give a balanced view.
Out items have included a body scrub,a bar of soap and a hairspray.

We went out for a meal on Saturday evening and you couldnt make the calamity up that surrounded it suffice to say it was the second meal out of the week that we left the restaurant having not paid.

Have a lovely week all...lets hope its a little more spring like than last.....

    Thank you :)
