I have to go and hide as a certain person is after me
Behind the old sofa will do, shhhhhhhhThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
Happy birthday to Tweets and Midwinter
Hope you both have a lovely day.
tweets i love to see pics of Poppy, I'm a big animal lover, especially doggies and her pics always make me smile.
I have a dog myself, a fat spoiled greyhound but he's my baby!!!0 -
Good morning all...
Happy birthday dearest tweets and midwinter....
TM ...hope Mr TM had a good night after his nasty accident and all mends well and soon.
Enterprise and bubbs...the gentle hugs are for both of you today to spread as needed round your family xx
We had a lovely weekend with DS....he slept most of it away but interspersed with the sleep we did catch up on quite a bit and I'm very happy that he seems to be in a good place and enjoying life at the moment.....taking him back to uni is always difficult but yesterday I knew he was returning to somewhere he wants to be!
We are going to have a go at frugal March...although dry Feb everyother day has slipped a little bit so my aim is 3 dry days in any 7 and see how that pans out.
Update on the toiletries challenge is 6 in and 3 out last week...
The 6 in were 4 deos cheap but not pennies in S and also needed...and 2 items to test....although as yet I am still unsure what the 2 test items actually are supposed to be so may struggle to give a balanced view.
Out items have included a body scrub,a bar of soap and a hairspray.
We went out for a meal on Saturday evening and you couldnt make the calamity up that surrounded it suffice to say it was the second meal out of the week that we left the restaurant having not paid.
Have a lovely week all...lets hope its a little more spring like than last.....frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

Very glad you have had a good weekend, taking them back is never easy. We had the emptiness that followed on with waving them off on trains going south and north with our 2 older ones, even if the preceeding days had been argumentative it still felt like a stomach blow after the train had set off.
But he is enjoying his new life so you have to take great comfort from that.
I had phone calls from Eldest child and eldest son on Friday - your heart sings when they ring“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Hope everyone is OK or at least improving.
In a separate room from my OH who was snoring like a drainUnfortunately that was not an option as the only spare bed we have is DDs old one and I can't get comfy on it
Good luck to your OH, hope things look better this morning xx

Ive had to resort to decamping as well, I know its the medication thats doing it but even so ...I was sleeping 2 nights out of 7, one night he woke me up every 2 hours but since I exiled myself to the other bedroom I sleep through every night - only 1 distrubed night.
I have to keep the bedroom door shut otherwise I can still hear him. Its not just snoring and muttering, he also thrashes around.
Oh is taking great offense and says he cant sleep without me
There is no solution to this“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

doesn't it just...it's amazing how just a couple of mins of chat can make everything seem so much brighter.
