Sorry Westie, I thought you had said you were off on the first leg and just assumed you were flying soon, very soon.. Yes, I know, one should never assume

Hope everyone is OK or at least improving.
In a separate room from my OH who was snoring like a drainUnfortunately that was not an option as the only spare bed we have is DDs old one and I can't get comfy on it
Good luck to your OH, hope things look better this morning xx

doesn't it just...it's amazing how just a couple of mins of chat can make everything seem so much brighter.
You must now be in the final throws of wedding planning,so I hope it's not too stressful for all....and hopefully you can get all the family together for a lovely day,on the day!
Exactly, the trouble is you cant vocalise it. If you say to them that the best bit of the day was getting their phone call then that enhances their view that parents have a very dull lifeIt also makes the calls more duty bound as they then start to worry about how dull parents lives are
There will be no wedding panic until the calender says March :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Ive had to resort to decamping as well, I know its the medication thats doing it but even so ...I was sleeping 2 nights out of 7, one night he woke me up every 2 hours but since I exiled myself to the other bedroom I sleep through every night - only 1 distrubed night.
I have to keep the bedroom door shut otherwise I can still hear him. Its not just snoring and muttering, he also thrashes around.
Oh is taking great offense and says he cant sleep without me
There is no solution to this
Same here mhoc, several nights I decamp to DS3s old room to sleep, or try to. If I start to cough DH wakes and asks 'what's wrong?'  I find it difficult to sleep right through lately and admit I shuffle so much due to arthritic pain. The coughing is due to COPD and asthma. He snores like a bear and shuffles his feet, pulls on the duvet so I have to grab it back. It makes sense on these sort of nights to decamp because he won't
He moans now and says the same as yours, he can't sleep without me, awwwwwww, poor man :rotfl:There's no place like home

Off or a stroll around the green to check hedgehog feeders. The ones in the garden are getting emptied every night for the last four nights, which means THEY are awake :jThere's no place like home

Anyway I just popped in to see if everyone survived the weekend, the storms, the half terms, February and life in general ... before I go AWOL while I try and catch up.
OH had a bad weekend with arm pains but he had a helpline number for the specialist nurse so he was hanging on until this morning. He rang it but it seems that they don't pick up messages until Tuesday afternoon  so thats a very unhelpful Helpline.
So instead he has a docs appointment at 11 this morning.
In the meantime he has gone off for the weekly blood test which he has done at the hospital. Yes he could quite easily have it done at the surgery 5 mins down the road, he just needs to made appointments 3 or 4 weeks ahead. Instead he does a 10 mile round trip and pays £3 for parking
and Ive got 2 ebay parcels to wrap - needless to say one person has not paid yet“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
