Sorry to hear about your fence and I agree a cold spell does the allotment a world of good. It gets rid of lots of nasty bugs:)
But I was thinking about the effects of a mild winter on insurance costs.....fewer prangs on icy roads; on the NHS.......fewer broken bones on slippy pavements and elderly suffering in the cold; reduced heating costs for those struggling on low wages and benefits etc etc:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Good morning all
I am glad that we have come through the latest weather relatively unscathed
I am taking some Schwartz to a girl in work She is just learning to cook  Yes I work in place that has a warehouse full but I prefer some of the Schwartz but would not buy at full price as I get "samples" of whatever I ask for The manager in the dept knows I am:
a not greedy
b not giving to extended family
c very generous with my glichey shopping He was mega pleased with the Reece choccies which I got for 50p
Stay safe and enjoy the day0 -

I made one person look further into it and for that I am very grateful. Now let's see if the younger generation of mhoc could be tempted to do a mouth swab and join the register.
If just a few people do a swab test and join the list I will be over the moon. You can only be asked twice. They find the best matches for the patient who are invited in for a top medical. Then from there they choose their best match.
DD incurred no costs at all everything was covered by the charity and they arranged things beautifully. She just has to claim back food receipts for which we had a generous daily budget.
We are praying for the recipient and his family. DD will get updates every 3 months and I hope the elite will enjoy following her story.

Yes its something that has always bothered me, the bits of me I could have donated .... I even tried for playelett donation and was rejected - it seems that they prefer the veins of young chaps ideally :rotfl:
My friend had her 4 th last August and she has been expressing, freezing and donating breast milk ever since, her freezer is full of it and they come and collect it periodically.
I can though encourage my gang to do cheek swabs - or nag if need be.
MY 2 lads used to donated blood when they lived at home. I am trying to get eldest son to donate again, he has been back in the Uk long enough now and there is a centre in the city centre, about 10 mins from where they live.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Ta for this
We got the free milk one yesterday and they've been eaten already. I am indifferent to biscuits but the chocolate on these is gorgeous.
But it seems a long way to go just for biscuits and Hipp but I am contemplating the Iams cat food issue ...
Has anyone found these Aunt Bessie chilled dessert things yet in Morrisons - assume they are next to the yogurt fridge.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Good morning Elite.
Hope everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.
I've not tried the razor shop yet but might give it a go at the weekend.
