They have reduced the price of the Ventura one in November going down the coast of Portugal and Spain - Valencia, Cartagena, Gibraltar - the same one last November worked out at £200 more for the cheapest outside cabins.
Plus if you opt for extra on board credit you get £250 - useful for some excursions or even the bar bill
We did that one last November, originally opted for an outside obstructed but we got upgraded to a cabin behind the art gallery which was a very good place to be.
we only got £125 OBC
On the plus side though I used up a big chunk of Mr Ts cc vouchers which took £810 off the bill, the very last time we will have enough points accumulated to every take that much off the bill again ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Its very peculiar having an empty house, I don't think you ever totally get used to it. But when you do finally get the nest empty don't get complacent because kids now have a bad habit of bouncing back again ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Penguin shloop vouchers still printing with one month expiry. I can confirm it is still £1 in Morries today, not sure about Sada.
Remember get as many receipts to add to shoppieprize. My morning shop at self serve was a one by one job, good thing it wasn't busy
I also do shops through the self scan one item at a time to collect as many receipts as possible.
In Sainsbobs its £1 shops at a time for the ongoing swipes and wins
Optiwell - I am not giving up on it, eventually I will find a store that sells it ...
Penguins ??!“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
thanks for this.
It sounds about right. He also asked us a bit later for the year we passed our driving tests. I am still a bit confused though as somewhere along the line he changed his van (3rd vehicle change in less than 6 months) - somewhere between October and December. So why is he changing his insurer now only 3 or so months later.
That might have been why he was asking us for a scan of our driving lisense cards but that was early November - we didnt pick the message up until we were in Cadiz so he had to wait 2 weeks until we got home as neither of us carry them about. A bit of a cheek as well, just assumed that it would be Ok, not even enough manners to politley ask if we would mind being added as 2nd or 3rd named drivers onto his car insurance.
This is what he does, ignores us for weeks, months even until he wants something. Ive had one conversation with him via messanger since Christmas and again it was the prelude to him asking me to do something.
Ive started ranting again so everyone tell me to take a deep breath. We have just had a really nice day out despite annoyance from Errant son ....
I have a naturally suspicious mind, so I always look at thinks from all sides and then make my mind up. This gives me a few thoughts.
Please don't assume the worst, it is just my thoughts.
1/ It's all above board.
2/ Opposite side, it is suspicious. All that info for adding you as named drivers? Little devil on my shoulder says it's trying to make you principal driver or even sole driver. (insurance company would maybe catch this).
3/ The insurance company is needing all this information for very strict checks as they are offering a good deal.
4/ He has made a claim and his new premium quote is now sky high, so he is doing all he can to lower it by adding other drivers etc.
IF, a big if, you are made the main driver when you are not, the insurance would be voided I think.
I would ask him which company is asking for this information and ask for his quotation number and then phone the company yourself to ensure that all is above board. If I was VERY suspicious I would ask to see hard copies.
If anyone suspects fraud this is the ask the police site with Q&As and below that is a link they supply.
https://www.askthe.police.uk/content/@1.htm England & Wales
https://www.askthe.scottish.police.uk/content/@1.htm Scotland
http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/
In all probability it is all above board.

Hmmmm. Mixed messages then. To be honest I don't see how Viking can activate them if they're not sending them out.
Perhaps they thought it was an instore purchase you were talking about (where the store does activate them) rather than an online order. Who knows?

Also my small Tesco had the small Mountain Dew free for COS :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Hi M, if DS needs this info just for Insurance purposes it does seem a little excessive. DH & I have been named drivers on all three of our children's policies but have never had to supply driving licence numbers and certainly not NI numbers. It was cheaper for them to put us on as named drivers for the first couple of years but after that they took us off again as once they started to build up their no claims bonus it was costing them more to have us on the policies.
Is it possible that DS is just renewing his licence? My DS's licence needed renewing last week and that did ask for his NI number to confirm ID but that would not explain why he needed your NI numbers.
I am sure all will become clear eventually.0 -
oh dear ....
watching Martin Lewis prog earlier in the week made me go and check the expury dates on our E111 cards (I still call them that )
Ive got to dig out my photo driving liscense as well to see what the date is on it - Oh still has the old fashioned paper version
I still have the paper version....my son thinks I was born in the 15th century...lol:rotfl:0 -
