    1. To qualify for 3,000 bonus points you must book your journey between 16-22 February, for travel by 30 April 2017.

Edit: Hope that didn't hurt Small Brian too much!!

I thought that it meant to book between those dates any travel, not on that dates. Anyone interpret it another way, checking cancellation charge now

    OK will try.

Same again HG, needs reporting. I will try ringing them, they will be missing lots of donations due to this.
Cant find any number, will try on a different browser.
    Thank you :A
I just did a quick test donation using IE when you first mentioned the problem, which worked fine, so not sure what's going on :undecided

Thank you Pacifica...the last years of my mums life was hard on us all...her dementia made her unpredictable and at times downright horrid...hard to say but we learnt it was the illness not her!
But amongst the pain of dementia there were also fleeting moments of what she was before and we also had some wonderful times with her even right up to end where the previous person shone through and embraced life.

I'm no stranger to grief...my beloved dad died far too young almost 19 years ago and as everyone knows we've gone on to lose some other very notable parts of the family too.

I guess it doesn't matter how old you get...parents are the ones you can look back to and miss many years after the event.

hugs, some days are so bad.

With my Dad we really didn't know what happened. one week I went to see him and he was fine, chatting away as normal. I had a letter from his sister with photos of her daughter and very oddly she has very similar looks to me ( adopted so sister and family not blood relations) and my dad was very interested, as he always was in photos.
That was the last conversation I ever had with him.
Next week I went to visit and he had taken to his bed and he wasn't communicating, I only stayed for half an hour, it was so awful. We never knew what the trigger was but in his mind he was just gone and no longer dad.
a couple of weeks later he was admitted to hospital mainly because of a foot problem but nothing very much else.
I went to see him on the Thursday and he was alert and listening even if he could not speak and then 3 later he had his breakfast and just slipped away.

    It's so unpredicable mhoc...death...

Neither of my parents were critically ill, infact for both separately we have pictures taken of them enjoying life the day before they each died...looking at those pictures it's hard to believe that in both cases within 12 hours of them being taken they were gone.

both very peacefully in sleep...a nice way to go but there's no goodbye.

I could actually make use of this as I ll be travelling to Inverness on the 18 th of April so I would go from Wrexham to Edinburgh for about £40 return and the £17 return from Edinburgh to Inverness curtesy of first Scot rail of which I'm a member lol.

The thing is I use red spotted hanky and Tesco double up vouchers so it s a no brainer for me as to which I will use lol
