Last year's lot didn't do that well.

Reptile party man did OK, looks to be fairly independent now. I'm not convinced he knows how to care for those animals long term and his house must stink.

Car booter looks like he will end up a hoarder within a couple of years. Also not convinced he is making enough money to be self sufficient. And he still needs a driving licence!

Lady looking for a job still hasn't found one and has started to claim housing benefits and some sort of child benefit. She needs a lucky break.

I Think the producers (along with some viewers) would like them to fail spectacularly, I hope they all do well and become self sufficient but that doesn't make good telly... :(

  • My Musketeer cards have arrived.

All4one or One4all, whatever they are, keep getting them muddled up.

No points yet, early days, I guess.

Email from VT offering 15% off tickets.

Another one from the Bay offering 250 points for spending N points, not investigated that properly yet.

Went to BM on way home hoping they might sell Ashley & Baker big buttons but they don't. They really should call themselves a fishing shop - never seen so much carp in one place. I swear the duvet covers were the same as on my last visit several months ago.

Hi, dirty sneaky lurker here, I can't contribute regularly because I'm not as cunning as you lot, however, I did learn something today that might be of use to the Nectar point chasers. I dropped off a myHermes parcel at a large Sainsburys earlier and learnt that I receive 25 Nectar points for every parcel dropped off or collected at their collection point. HTH someone.

Shameless self quote and bump as it's now just two weeks until I'll be doing this. We still have a way to go to meet our target, so all help will be very gratefully received (as will blister remedies and suggestions for keeping warm)

Some of you may remember towards the end of last year I was fortunate enough to attend an event featuring James Bowen and Street Cat Bob. The things James spoke about have stayed with me since then and I've decided I want to do more to help. In a moment's madness I've signed up to do the Big Issue Big London Night Walk on March 3rd.
If you've read the books or seen then the film, you'll know what an inspirational story James and Bob's is and if you were moved by them at all it would be fantastic if you could spare a little towards our fundraising efforts.
I've put a link to our JustGiving page on the charities board, which you can find here:

Wish me luck. It'll be cold but it'll be fun!

After my email rant at Kitty Bingo after they locked me out as soon as I had deposited my tenner, they did indeed refund my money so I never played. However, my cashback has also been confirmed. :D

Would like them to succeed. Would be great if one of them became a character and ended up on other reality shows.
