I buy Cravendale and when it is on offer I get extra and used to store it lying down on the fridge shelf. A while ago one of them leaked out nearly half the contents and I had milk running out the bottom of the fridge. I moaned to Cravendale and they said the milk seals are not designed to take the extra pressure and the bottles must always be kept upright. I don't know if the same applies to other milk brands but Cravendale is the only one I have had leak.

We tend to buy A 4 pints and can have a few stored on their side in the top of the fridge at any one time. We have only had a few leaks over the years, so cannot really complain, particularly as the label does say Store Upright.

Off to pay my respects at a neighbours funeral this morning. He sadly passed away in the new year....There must have been a backlog of people at the pearly gates as he passed away at the beginning of January. It doesn't matter what we do...There is always a flipping queue.....:rotfl::rotfl:

What a mess in the sink  couldn't leave it like that so washed up and dried. Also cleaned the crumbs :)

Morning all, looks very bright outside which probably means its extra cold.

I found this - so its a US company and it explains a lot

I started a thread last night regarding this and Streetlife are still insisting that people will join and not too worry. Inevitably it wont happen.

Someone has suggested I put the next village along as my location - although its not somewhere I have anything to do with now with not having school age children.

Figured it out - its under settings and Area settings so I've put the local village which gives a tick box of various places around and now I have everything back to normal!

    Good morning all...

TM gets a survey on organic nuts from T home panels...I get one on halloween toffee apples....very random.

I really didnt expect the sauce in the cupboard/fridge discussion to then turn to eggs...but for the record mine go in the fridge but come out an hour before they are needed to adjust to room temp.

If I had been a betting person I expected the conversation to turn to the cream and jam debate on scones...we are a split house on this some prefer the jam first and some the cream!!!

love to all....but an especially big set of positive thoughts to dearest HG this morning xx

I am not on Nextdoor myself but Mrs Anon is - it is worth noting that by default it shows your actual address, including house number, if I have understood correctly. While the whole idea is that you are in your neighbourhood, we thought that was a step too far and you can amend what is showing in your settings.
