Yes thanks bubbs are you? It was the baby shower on Sunday and we also got a new to us car at the weekend so it's been busy, plus this bloody working lark isn't suiting me as well as it used to :rotfl:0 -
Good morning all, blue sky out there and I can see the sun trying to peek over a neighbour's roof
As for the fridge, I keep the eggs in the egg rack and the milk in the door. I have never had a problem with either with a properly running fridge.
Another thing I was taught with eggs is always to crack them separately, and I still do. I had a friend who was happily cracking eggs into the mixing bowl, I told her I always cracked them into a cup one by one in case there was a bad one. She carried on cracking them (needed about 6) and they were fine. The next time she cracked eggs though she remembered what I said and cracked them into a cup one by one, the last one was a bad one and she would have had to throw away the lot if she had forgottenWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Morning all. A London day yesterday and the train was delayed 29 minutes last night. Might just see if they will pay out anyway. I've caught up now. There's a certain excitement about missing a day and wondering if those unread pages hide a glitch!!0

Good morning all
I am hoping for a less challenging day at work so that I can tidy up
I have a cleaner who is sub contracted? She does not feel any need to work to her employer's guideline as she knows better about times , rota's etc and I am harassing her by expecting her to work to contracted hours :eek:
Enjoy whatever you do
I think we've all come across those

Savvybuyer wrote: »Not so. Or, not necessarily. I had these (McCoy's Classic Crisps) on a womble last week where they and some French Fries appeared on the comp. at full price £1.45 each. McCoy's were an OOS glitch. However, I tried them myself the following day - I didn't post - but, unfortunately, the McCoy's Classic appeared to have refreshed as they appeared on the comp. picking up the mbuy (£1.00 A) with the French Fries:(. (In fact the resultant APG on the shop was so low it wasn't even worth printing. So, full 2 for £2 price to A:p.)
I'm not bothering doing the M list at the moment and I haven't been to M today. I think I'm just having some time off from it. The next time I go to M for this will probably be 22nd February. And then I may leave it off and no go again until 13th and/or 15th March. I'll eventually update to last Wednesday's prices, so bringing it more up-to-date than what it currently is although some of it will be out of date and thus need checking msm/m.com to see that prices haven't changed since (where they are even showing on there). I assume it's already common knowledge that Shredded Wheat Honey Nut (500g) has been and is (until 21st February according to msm) £1 in M, therefore Avs M. Bitesize Shredded Wheat (500g) is also £1 in M, however do *not* buy that in A (£2.49) as it extremely likely does not appear on the comp. at all as it appears it is not on a.com. I can't say as the shop was not done today but it did not appear at all a week ago.
Strange things as the McCoy's did not seem to be on a.com, at least not when signed out; however they picked up the mbuy by the day I bought them.
So, the best price per unit on the Bitesize Shredded Wheat should be Avs T at £1.59, as Avs M £1 most probably indeed does not work (works out more expensive for a 500g pack in A than buying 750g in T outright - £2.49 500g A; £1.59 750g T) and straight £1 in M is more expensive per unit than 10% off T's price.
The McCoy's may drop off, however leaving £1.45 vs 75p on French Fries (assuming T is still on offer then) is not really good as it misses out £1.45 vs £1.00 for the McCoy's that was much better on the date of the womble last week. I think it's hardly worth it at invisible trigger (if/when that happens) - total cost after APG £1.225 - uh, I don't know, just over 60p each may be alright:think: - but the womble price (not available now) was about 34p each. However, I have my two packs now at £1 each:rotfl::(. I'm glad I only tried one shop and didn't buy any more of them.
I wish I had only bought 2 - as I reported back I bought 8 and they all appeared . They are the most expensive crisps I have bought in a very long time.
They weren't and still aren't appearing on A, where I am, logged in or out, so perhaps they are on A in some other part of the UK where the apg is taking its A prices from? Or perhaps they have changed the system?
I also tried Classic and Steak and only Classic appeared on the apg - but there are no guarantees how the apg will behave as neither are on A.
Good to hear you are giving yourself a well earned break from price collecting - I don't know if I am imagining it, but the supermarkets seem to be stabilising the prices a little more rather than yoyoing between various made up full price and offer prices at the moment (unless we are just in a price establishment phase due to them getting into trouble with the regulators).
