    Internal doors headache

    Our doors are H 203cm W 72cm D 3.5cm

I can not find any doors to fit :(

Either too short, too wide, too deep

    Given up :o

    from wickes
    Things to think about it

Door sizes are standardised to the three most common widths, which are still exact in imperial terms: 2ft 3in (686mm), 2ft 6in (762mm) and 2ft 9in (838mm). If you have a non-standard doorway, you may need to have a new door specially made. Most off-the-shelf doors will be a very tight fit in a standard door frame, and therefore only need a small amount trimmed off their height and edges in order to fit them exactly.

There is usually a limit to how much you can trim a door (around 10mm in total), so check instructions before you start. You should always remove equal amounts from both sides of a door.

if you get a pine door you should be able to cut 21mm off each side. i cut 30mm from 1 side with a circular saw. (most diyers should be able to use a circular saw. practice on the old door) get a door with a nice wide bit of wood around the outside.

You don't, but it says when opened you should keep in the fridge.

Given you are all still posting, evidence suggests that no harm will come to you if you keep in the cupboard :).

Thanks for this. I just used to get rid of my sons old university textbooks. However I tried another order and now want to remove some of them from the basket. How do I do this please ?

On the app I think you just touch the individual item near the RHS of the screen and an option pops up to delete.

Snap...I have to say I thought that the daffodils were lovely too...they were always my mums favourite flowers and I'm just a little sad that perhaps she's no longer around for us to buy her a few of these to go in the garden outside her room.
For the last year of her life she lived in a nursing home but had lovely patio doors from her room to a small paved area with pots and a couple of chairs...she was a heavy smoker and it meant that she could still indulge in her beloved pastime without flouting too many rules.
Why do I think she would have loved the flowers...yes because they were daffodils, but they would have made a damn good ashtray too...

its almost 4 years to the day that she passed away and its strange how even now I still look at things and almost buy them in some cases because they would be useful to her.....so I look at the marie curie daffodils and I know that it's a cancer charity and all that but it raised a smile this morning when I though just how much my mum would have loved them and made what she considered such a good use of them!...albeit inappropriately.
Think I would have liked your mum!!

My mam died over 20 years ago, but i still have times when I think, 'I must tell her that or take her there'

    Evening all,
Word of warning, be careful how and where you stack your stash!
On Friday evening I thought I would get a box of RTC chocs from the neat pile on top of the freezer, I slipped and landed on my side across the wooden arm of one of the dining chairs:mad::eek::eek:
Needless to say I have hardly been able to move since and no trips to sainsbugs!!
I haven't even had the energy to log in here.

Off to read back for a few pages, but may never catch up!

Ouch pippo. Hope you feel better soon. Take it easy.

HG - hope all goes well tomorrow.
