mhoc....have a look where the normal shampoos are...not in the clearance section...thats what threw me yesterday....

The aussie I got was 300ml bottles...the long hair and the winter miracle are both reduced to £1.05 even though the price ticket may still say £4.19..conditioners for both those varieties too were reduced.

Its just a case of scanning the shelves...the HE was summer something guava in a pretty bottle 75p and I also noticed some HE dry shampoos also reduced to 75p but again they may be priced higher..in one shoes they were priced £1.50 but the assistant confirmed they were indeed 75p.

The boots own brands that are normally 75p come in several flavours....apple,coconut and strawberry each with conditioners ...but the better buy is to try and hunt out the other hidden branded stuff
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

Please can I ask has anyone got a pc of the Boots 75p shampoos - I went with intent today but they changed the packaging so that threw me even though they were 75p - hving been caught out before getting things for cashback with new packaging I was unnerved :)

    - no tea tree though which was really what I was after.

And nothing very exciting in the clearance section either under the subject heading of haircare:(

This is what they had in mine - not bought any yet, just nipped in for a mag and was told to help myself to them :D

My friend was trouted in Mr Shoes with her MOC for the shampneys

Was told it was only John Frieda - wouldn't even scan the MOC - just took it off her & refused to give it back :(

And the funny thing is it says on the moc you can't use it for premium brands!:rotfl:

Any of the full size shampoo ( except baby) conditioners and dry shampoo. People are just buying the cheapest.
I am buying the anti dandruff on offer at £1 reduced from £2.49. Hth.

That's nice but it's Candlemas, so the rainier the better according to olde folklore. :o

I'll happily have the rain if it means the worst of the winter is over. Don't mind having it on your behalf, either, I can be generous like that.:D

    Refund from Amazon today. :j
Thats kind thanks, but dont get lured into thinking it is, going to turn cold again next week and i always think feb worse than jan

Frugal Feb is also proving to be a real challenge for some reason...but after todays shop it's unlikely that we will need anything further until well after the weekend, and at that point I also have around £6 of wombled APG's.

I seem to be running out of basics and its a killer when in the same shop you need coffee and Tea bags....both things that are only bought occasionally but eat into the preset limit.
2 of the dearest things:( but sure you will be as near as damn it:D

I still have one more Mr Shoes to explore tomorrow...its next to a S petrol station....so I have also popped my 2 petrol cans in the boot of the car so I don't forget them.

Both cars will at some point be heading that way over the weekend....

Bubbs,I think this will be the month that frugal fails....

I hadn't remembered valentines and by tradition thats a meal deal combo...so £20 straight off either to M&S waities or T.

Struggling a little with vegetables too...we would normally eat lots of courgettes brocolli and peppers but the supermarkets seem to be quite short on this at the moment preferring to use what they have in expensive pre packed foil containers that are convenient but expensive.

We dont have the luxury of a greengroger that local to us but I suspect if the big guys are struggling getting reasonable priced veg everyone is....I guess thats the cost of bad weather in europe.

I'm going to persevere with frugal Feb but realistically it aint going to be a near miss this month!
