    Goooood Moooorning....And what a beautiful day it is....So much milder and it is great to see the white heads of the Snowdrops poking up and the Catkins in the hedgerows...First signs of spring....:j:j

    I slinked off without a request for being MIA...No excuse...just took a break.:rotfl::rotfl:..But, Soooo much has happened...I won't bore you with all the details......My kitchen, Utility room and WC is now all but complete..Just a couple of teeny jobs to finish off.....I just need to sort out some sort of blinds for the windows and french doors.......Hopefully get some time to go out shopping for some.....My upstairs bathroom floor is tiled...Thinking I might tile a splash back around the sink...Yet to decide on tiles for this......

    DS partner gave birth to a bouncing baby girl yesterday....DD Anounces a pregnancy...Little DS is now courting....Gosh to much going on...With expectancy and and birth that now makes....5 Grandchildren...:eek::eek:...I'm not old enough to do granddads yet...:rotfl::rotfl:

    On a sad note..One of my friends died suddenly at the weekend...He was only in his early 50s...Just makes me think .....Live it like you can...Live each day like its your last...

    Think I have a lot of catching up to do but will try my best.......Hope you are all well and finding lots of glitchy bits....:wave::wave::wave:

    I made Elevenses if anyone wants to join me...:coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: Help yourselves to Ginger bisquits.....:kisses3:

    Nice to see you back marmie, thanks for the coffee :). Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend :(

    Sounds like you've been busy with your house but all that hard work will be worth it when it's all done grandad xx :D
    There's no place like home :)

    Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

    Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    Thanks AJ....I hope all is and has been well with you......I am not too far away from finishing now..The main jobs are flooring in the hall, stairs and landing and the bathroom downstairs which is just an empty room at present.....Apart from that it is the usual finishing touches in each room and my garden to sort out.....Looking forward to good days for gardening...

    :rotfl::rotfl:...Grandad Marmie......:rotfl:...Noooooooo

    So after my trip to the Card Factory this morning I decided to have a look in Poundland, they've been there almost a year now. They are closing down on the 23rd of this month :eek: 25% off everything. I decided to buy a few wild bird Suet Blocks and some DVDs.
    It seems that Aldi who own the building were going to increase the rent.

    From there I drove to Mr T, nothing of interest there, not for 4p so I'm giving up looking. I just bought a few food bits that I fancied as I'm still not eating very much, not that it shows :o

    By this time I was jiggered, been out 2 hours and back had started aching. Nothing that a teeny tiny nap wouldn't cure though :D

  • Good afternoon all

    Cloudy, squally, wet and windy - so that's fine - it just means winter is on its way out here at least. :j:j
