It only takes quite a small amount of explosive material to cause havoc mid air on a plane....and it can be easily concealed in gels and toiletries.

I am considering joining another thread.....
The one about not buying unnecessary toiletries and I assume using up what you have....

or I could try and persuade a few on here to just join me in declaring what we get in and what we use up....

I'm not good at joining in with those I don't know ...but again I guess everyone has to be the newbie sometime, but they do seem to have serious stashes of beauty bits over there....sadly as do I!!!!

I have been keeping a little log of what has left this month and what I have gained and so far its 10 out and 5 new things in...although this figure of 10 does include a couple of things that were one squirt and they were gone...the 5 in however are full sized products to test.

I am far too embarrassed to actually list all the products I am in possession of ...it literally runs into the hundreds and they need either using up or possibly even ditching because of age.

I have on the positive side not actually bought any toiletries of any sort this month.
    Hi LEJC
I'm happy to join in with you on this thread if you like. I joined the other thread last year, but it doesn't seem to fit in with elite shopping habits!!:rotfl: Also, like you, I'm too embarrassed to actually list what I've got.
I was at The Metro Centre today to meet and old friend for lunch and she asked if I needed to go to any of the shops... I immediately said Mr Shoes thinking mag, shampoo, but I had a word with myself and then said no I don't need anything!!
Today I have used up a random conditioner :j

if you go to SavyDeals UK on FB there is a code for free delivery from the works - have a look at the Jan sales list.

    Don't forget Quidco

There are quite a few books for £2 with titles like

    Santa is coming to Brighton
    Santa is coming to Dundee

about 42 different places, might be a good extra stocking filler

also Christmas money boxes with names on - 28 different names for £1

Thanks Pippo for your support and everyone else...so in an informal way shall we try and rid ourselves of unnecessary products over the next year....I have loosely updated my sig so if you are not joining in ...could you at least remind me if my incoming stuff starts to outnumber the outgoing!

in other words please remind me of my pledge.

Just trying to desk clear so I went through the receipt pile - I've been keeping track of spends this month via an excel chart - OK I seriously did cheat by being away for nearly 2 weeks.

Even so I've managed 19 NSD days this month :j- we even had visitors/overnight guests for 3 weekends so there was a lot of forward planning, home cooking and using up of left over Christmas odds and ends and more than a lot of walking away from temptation when things were not really a proper bargain

I doubt if I will ever manage 20 NSDs ever again :D
