Well I have been busy chasing up people and various companies lately and am pleased to announce they have complied with what I've said.

    1) Zeek , after a lot of emails back and too ( at least they're free) have given me £5 bonus and have said they will refund the £22 I paid for the Pizza Express voucher...those of you who read what I put.

    2) M & S , finally got an e voucher for hubbies missing £5 birthday bonus .

    3) QKR, finally got a reply telling me when my £10 credit runs out . First £5 is on the 9th of Feb and the second £5 a week later. Plus I have an offer of a free burger etc from Ed s diner so looks like another trip to Liverpool is in order. Dinner there then later go somewhere for a pudding and drink to use up the QKR money .

    Happy days :D

I tried to print that MOC but half the barcode didn't print and you only get one go.....BOO!

    One go per account :D

I popped one into the food bank the other day, got me up to a conditional spend to save £3, hope someone has a use for pants like that.

Yes I'm the same with toiletries didn't realise for ages just how long a bottle of something lasts :( I'm ploughing through them slowly and give some away but if I didn't want them I wouldn't have bought them in the first place. I'm much better than I was but still can't resist freebies or better than free :o

Up till about a year ago I had piles of magazines there were 100 s all in a neat pile or on shelves. I acquired them off boot sales mainly dating back over 10 years , yes really hoarder Susie I got rid of them in a skip down the road , took several car journeys too .

I used to buy Take A Break every week do the competitions but not fill in the grids. These would be stacked on a shelf and when we go to Spain on the Coach I'd take a good handful with me. I'd read and do all the puzzles and crosswords.

The rep for the company lives in Spain and always has my magazines. I got rid of several more but kept Criss Stitch ones that have free gifts , these are going to be passed on when I contact my friend to see if she wants the gifts :rotfl:

It is lovely having the empty space on that shelf at least :D :T
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

  • At last, I've finally got what I consider some helpful information to contribute to the Elite, albeit only small....

If you take your own travel mug to Caffe Nero for your drink you get 2 loyalty stamps. And having tested it today - you can do this when getting your free O2 drink!!!

thank you, very very interesting - I am wondering if my travel mug holds as much as a large hot chocolate with the cream swirl on the top - someone needs to do an experiment.
2 stamps on the card is very tempting
    - I have one space left on a card and it is going to be irksome - when you have a card like this you feel you ought to buy a drink eg tea and get the card stamped and then have your 2nd one free, sort of BOGOF :D

I have no idea what our break down is, couldn't tell you what the phone costs us, I just know the overall total.

Our Sky plan was set when we first joined Sky, you could choose, Movie package, Kids package, Music Package, Sports package blah blah. We had the lot and still do:o.

Virgin isn't in our area so that leaves BT . Oh dear what a headache, I'm pleased it's not up to me to sort out :rotfl:

We are only taking hand luggage to Rome, but think it will be OK, it is the bage I was thinking about, I know the bottles are fine.
All the toiletries/liquids you take in your hand luggage must fit into one of the stupid plastic bags they provide.....oh and if they are being particularly difficult, they will insist they you are able to seal the bag too! Well that has been our experience at Gatwick.
