Blimey, I see no glitch but it appears we have we had a surge of day release members today .
Welcome one and all - January is nearly over and hopefully February will bring even more delights. Please stick around - it appears the world has gone mad and we are now looking remarkably sane and sensible :A. Who would have thought it .

I've always thought it was the rest of the world that was mad anyway
You have to be insane not to be mad in this world. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Savvybuyer wrote: »Really? I don't believe anyone that tells me that they do:rotfl:. Actually, I can do 33 in a 30 and 44 in a 40 as that's the 10% allowance in this unclear society that almost never says what it means. Even though 31 is still speeding, an exemption appears to have been grafted onto the law. I have no idea about that road in Warrington where it claims "40 means 40":rotfl:. I think I did a maximum of 40 just to be on the safe side, thus restricting my conduct even more than should have been with the extra-legal exemption. In fact I would hope that you were not always doing 40 in a 40 mph zone (that is where 40 mph is the speed limit applicable to your vehicle) as sometimes weather conditions etc. may make it unsafe to travel at the speed limit and you should not be travelling that fast. Just because it says 30 doesn't mean you do 30 and just because it says 40... etc. I think that is what you meant though.
I think that "40 means 40" is there because merely putting up a 40 sign is ineffective for the vast majority of people and they need it reinforcing even more. I really have a low opinion of people don't I?:o:o:rotfl: But I think there is something that means people generally will fail to notice things unless they are pointed out even more.
I know someone who had to do a speed awareness course having done 32 in a 30 limit. The first thing I said was 'I thought you were allowed 10%'. Didn't apply in that case...0 -

Well done!
It is great to win/get your deposit back and the cashback bonus, but please all, be careful not to get sucked in. It seems so simple to play and when you win may be tempted to deposit more. It doesn't take much for people to get hooked.
The secret with these deals is to only do them if you can afford to lose your deposit even if the cashback does not pay out and if you have control. Only deposit the amount required to trigger the cashback, only play what is required (minimum wager return) to meet the offer requirements, then withdraw and walk away.
I lost my £10 depositso hopefully TCB will payout and I will still make a profit.
