For those who have cats will know what it's like when they have a "daft half hour". They run around, causing mischief while making funny noises.

Well DD and I have done just that .......with our naughty lingerie:rotfl:

We've had such a laugh....thank you CoT for bringing the post over:T

  • They were meant to collect the item I waited in for all day yesterday - which turned out when I opened the box to be the wrong item...

So Amazon CS arranged for it to be collected today, but it hasn't been. And the replacement is due Friday.

In the ts and cs of Amazons email which said that collection has been arranged, it says that the rejected item has 30 days in which to arrive back at the returns place, so there's no real panic at my end from that side of things, but it is no way to run a business. This is the problem when they outsource for cheapness in delivery services and then those services in turn pay their staff peanuts. Corners get cut, things get missed in the rush, and in the end the customer pays through wasted time, so they might as well charge and outsource properly for decent respectable service from the beginning.

They say they aim to be Earth's most customer-centric service, a strange way of putting it, so maybe they already got their selling rights organised for the Moon and Mars. God help us all...:rotfl:

Currently watching a programme on the Core of the Earth, maybe they have got them sorted for there

Does anyone know if you have to inform the police if you have lost your passport even if it's in the house I mean before you can apply for a new one please. Not me I might add lol

No. On the new application you tick the box to say you lost it. At that point the old one will be cancelled, so even if you found it you couldn't use it.
