    In T's......

Was listening to a podcast earlier today, the bit that stuck with me was when you compare yourself now to the person you were 5 years ago. Just think about it for a second........

Initially, I went eh..... to :eek:

In those 5 years, big changes in my health, different outlook to certain things, going from not saying boo to a goose, from almost total isolation and plummeting self confidence to bluffing my way through uni and mixing with people  I could go on.....

It hasn't gone unnoticed, the change in you is quite amazing. So you've overcome your shyness and lack of confidence and turned into an amazing person :T. Not that you weren't amazing before, all the things you had done and kept quiet about  well done Westie xx

I'd like one of those stools, now which one shall I choose
Looking at instant pots. but dont want to pay the £95 even with the £10 off.

I'm umming about this one instead https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tower-T16005-Express-Electric-Pressure/dp/B00SREV85W/ref=sr_1_13?m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1484938579&sr=1-13&keywords=instant+pot

I didn't know you could get electric pressure cookers  mine is old style, that's why I said about quickly reducing pressure by running the cold tap over the side of the lid, missing the pressure valve of course  I don't know if I'd be confident enough to use an electric one :o
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Some of you may remember towards the end of last year I was fortunate enough to attend an event featuring James Bowen and Street Cat Bob. The things James spoke about have stayed with me since then and I've decided I want to do more to help. In a moment's madness I've signed up to do the Big Issue Big London Night Walk on March 3rd.
If you've read the books or seen then the film, you'll know what an inspirational story James and Bob's is and if you were moved by them at all it would be fantastic if you could spare a little towards our fundraising efforts.
I've put a link to our JustGiving page on the charities board, which you can find here:

Wish me luck. It'll be cold but it'll be fun!

:T Hope it goes well HG. I will happily donate after pay day next week. Please give me a bump Monday. :)

Afternoon mad squad, this year I happened to have today off so I accompanied mrs99p to the mr shoes sale, wow what an eye opener, mostly mad women running around the store grabbing stuff off shelves, quite good fun though. We did quite well and have pretty much got Christmas sewn up in January:rotfl:

I was through the door at 8.30pm. Picked up 5 men's gift sets for Christmas 2017. I was the second person through the till and at work for 9. It was like a military operation. Perfectly planned and executed.:rotfl:
    I could have got loads......but I was sensible.:D

I managed to use my paper vouchers. I had £1 off when you spend £10 and double points. Till rejected a 100points wys £10.

So I'm still under budget for January. I will do a total over the weekend:)

I noticed people with young children and reluctant partners being told exactly what to buy and where to stand :rotfl:

Loads of pink Ted Baker boxes Di.......should we have a look at eBay later and see how much this stuff is going for?:)

Well my UG saga continues with a message from CoS:

Your receipt has been processed but has unfortunately been denied on this occasion as we were unable to identify any qualifying products on your receipt.

Can't say I blame them - 'drink' at 1.39 could be anything, couldn't it?

Deep sigh, as mhoc would say...

I'm to scared to use a normal one, i'm so forgetful. This can be used as a slow cooker as well i think
