Hello everyone. Just checking in and totally overwhelmed by all the messages of support. Thank you. It has really made a difference. I've had an exhausting day but it was better than yesterday -- thank you.

I've now sorted car hire and checked in online and sorted an itinerary for Mum which gives me a tiny bit of shopping space while I leave her with friends, so now I just need to pack and work out if there is anything in my stash which will fit into my hand luggage as hospitality gifts to save me having to try and find something when we arrive. If the Boots sale is tomorrow and if there is anything at the airport, I shall be such a happy bunny as I'll buy after we are through security!

Oh yes, I also need to sort the kitchen and the spare room so that she can actually get to the bed she will be sleeping in on Monday night. It is in sewing mode at the moment and I can hardly find somewhere to put my feet as I walk through it!

Thanks again for all the support. It is appreciated hugely. I'm taking a bit of time now to catch up with the rest of the thread. :)
Sorry i must have missed what happened :o but seems like you have sorted it, have a nice holiday if thats where you are going xx

Hang on don't panic lol. Did you buy him an actual giftcard one that came in the post or an online e one like I did. If you bought the actual one that will be fine it's just the e voucher one.

I ve never experienced anything like it tbh and I won't get caught again.

Thanks emerald. I realise now you were referring to e cards and not physical ones. Panic over...lol:rotfl:

EEE, it does not seem like 2 mins ago that AAu and his missus were stripping on the stairs.
