I'd like to start up a game but i can't decide on the format

It can be either a "guess the weight" game or it could be a "guess the date" game

    Which would people prefer?

    I'm going for August 18th, 8lb 6.5oz :p

No I am afraid people don't understand our way of shopping. I also had a brilliant whoopsie shop as Asda on Tuesday and couldn't believe how much I got for under a fiver which will last me a week at least.

I was in our local small boots today. A lady with a pram was overloaded with baby clothes. I said to her if she hangs on they will probably be 70pc off tomorrow. At first she seemed to be listening then carried on picking more clothes up!

Well done Bubbs on your new car. What did you decide on your pressure cooker.

Checked banking last night and £14.40 edam gone in. I also got 2 cheques for bacofoil yesterday. Thank u to op. Just waiting for mayonnaise money now but not looking forward to opening it after other people's comments.
Now need to log into nectar and investigate this. Thanks for the headsup.
TK maxx had loads of 20p final clearance today but all a load of tat so nothing to tempt me.
Thanks:D i didnt decide anything, i have just spent ahemmm a fair bit on a kenwood , need to find a home for that:o

Sorry to hear you are down in the dumps Picasso. Can I make you a cuppa? Isn't it so dark these mornings:o But evenings are lighting up lovely:T:T

Hello everyone. Just checking in and totally overwhelmed by all the messages of support. Thank you. It has really made a difference. I've had an exhausting day but it was better than yesterday -- thank you.

I've now sorted car hire and checked in online and sorted an itinerary for Mum which gives me a tiny bit of shopping space while I leave her with friends, so now I just need to pack and work out if there is anything in my stash which will fit into my hand luggage as hospitality gifts to save me having to try and find something when we arrive. If the Boots sale is tomorrow and if there is anything at the airport, I shall be such a happy bunny as I'll buy after we are through security!

Oh yes, I also need to sort the kitchen and the spare room so that she can actually get to the bed she will be sleeping in on Monday night. It is in sewing mode at the moment and I can hardly find somewhere to put my feet as I walk through it!

Thanks again for all the support. It is appreciated hugely. I'm taking a bit of time now to catch up with the rest of the thread. :)
