I only like pie without pastry on the bottom. My mum used to make lemon meringue pie that was only actually lemon meringue, otherwise I wouldn't eat it :rotfl:

Hmmm, in my professional opinion, you were put off at an early age by having too many soggy bottoms.
You really should re-train your palette.
Perhaps start with a custard pie, building up to a chicken and leek once you have got accustomed to the new and delightful taste extravaganza in your mouth.

I too use an electric pressure cooker and love it. It's the Instant Pot and I also use it to make the most wonderful yoghurt I have ever tasted!

I'm interested in one. Not sure if I can justify the price though

    Evening all,

Ive had a frustrating day no internet since 9am, my phone is payg and the mobile data signal is rubbish, so I relied on DH to keep me upto date - he lurks on here during his lunch break (only 20 mins) so I cant say anything detrimental against him .....but I would if I needed to ;)
our router is temperamental so they are sending us a new one ..free of course.
so I must thank Dh who passed the message to me re clothes in T. and also to whoever posted in the first place.
I didn't get to t until mid afternoon and no one had been rummaging in the 2nd store I went to, I had my pick, 1st store you wouldn't have even known they had any xmas stuff left, but I know they had racks of it yesterday!!
decided to go back with DH after his work- nothing left, the sa had taken everything into store room, there was 1 sa going around checking all the items and removing them from the fixtures, but she missed a few and they ended up in my trolley...this time only managed the little vests. but so pleased with what I have bought, but I could have kicked myself for not getting more earlier as I was the only person at the time going thru the racks and checking the sizes.
Braveheart- thanks for the 50p smilies and cornettos via the moc from T mag.

Loving the new signatures girls+boys :)

Of course, and they have to be sold in a plastic bag. :D Yum yum yum!!!

I applied for it after I saw it on the back of a ginsters wrapper, or was it a greggs back...anyway, I digress, they said I would be the best forumite for the post.

DM your sig gave me my biggest giggle today.

Do they need anyone to start online dating forum just for money savers with sub divisions for pie makers?:rotfl::rotfl:

Big deal I managed to leave the house today. Not for long but am on the mend. Apparently this virus is meant to last 9 days so should leap out of bed tomorrow morning:rotfl:
