    Evening

Just a quick post as pisting on my phone

In T today they had the double packs of cadburys fingers reduced to 62p in two stores(boxes were empty though) worth looking out for and also worth rechecking Mars and snickers as previous store that was full price was now reduced

In s I went to look for Freddie but none but they had some bisto chicken gravy granules reduced from £3 to 75p bb April 2018 and Paul Hollywood white and milk choc cookie mix for 20p each
One cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.

Tell me about.it, mine went from 6 acres to the barn , and 40 plus inside make a lot of mess, had to bring ducks home as to messy with water with the hens, also they get getting dirty under the perches :o. So they are now living in Polly tunnel.

So glad your mum is on the mend it must be a great relief for you. Xxc

It's horrible isn't it? We had a poorly girl last week and straight away thought the worst :( thankfully she was ok but it was scary just how many symptoms she had :(

Think we all get told that by people that don't understand our way of shopping, I saw a friend at asda tonight. Told her I just needed milk, saw her on way out with 3 big bags full and she said you only needed milk, .tried to explain that it all only cost under £3 and that included 8 pints of milk as had hit final reductions everything 10 p .and she said it was a waste as we would not eat it all tonight so it would be binned.:rotfl::rotfl:

My OH used to say similar things... then he began to say 'you have a problem'... but now I have trained him by hiding things and letting him think we have run out of them. Plot 1 - he was in the shower with nothing to wash with, and I passed him a slither of soap. Plot 2 - I sent him muggle shopping, and made him run the house on what he had bought.... now he loves by stash!

Lol at DM, congratulations on your new position too :D

I've got a massive paper cut right across the middle of the finger my phone uses to identify me and now it doesn't know who I am :(:o
 Perhaps they are going to steal your identity, and you wont exist any more!! You will go to the bank and they will go Mrs. Hornetwho?? And, and, and you say hello to people you know, and they look at you in wonderment, and no one will believe you are Hornetgirl

Congratulations to silvercar and dd on their new positions. Dd good luck with yours I think you need it .:rotfl:

DM :rotfl: I am so jealous of your new position. Can I ask you some questions Do you get to taste the pies . so no pastry on top is not a pie , but what about no pastry on the bottom is that a pie, as it Does avoid the whole soggy bottom issue.
Most importantly where do you stand on the whole soggy bottom subject. .
I hope RF and DD dont mind me discussing my forum over here (and they are welcome to pop over my way to share money saving tips to fellow pie lovers) but yes, I do get to taste lots of pies. Obviously no pastry on the top can not be a pie. A pie can have no pastry on the bottom, preferably if it has a puff pasty topper, obviously.
Soggy bottoms, now, where do I start...there is no reason for a soggy bottom. Look at your pastry mix, check your cooking vessel, and obviously, there is always blind baking (although I prefer blind tasting :D ).

That must have been so worrying, glad it was OK, it was hard explaining to the dgc that the silkies that they love playing with are not allowed in the garden, they now keep chasing wild birds away as don't want them to get sick :p.
