    :(:(:(

We have a very sick cat - Bryn. He has never been ill, just staring at wall giving tiny coughs - he can't get comfy.
He went to Vets yesterday - treatment given, we just have to weather the storm, he will get better it just takes time.
Mr P who had it last week got better by about 3 days.
    I hate his misery :(

    :(

I'm full of woe & angst.

Beaten up friend (cashpoint) is critical in hospital high dependency ward.
The more I hear of his attack, the more ghastly it was.
Beaten, thrown around & stamped on street, his hair pulled out by roots. He is 62 - and wasn't well to start with.

    Snap...sad times on several levels.....

I always hate it when our animals are ill...if I'm honest I worry more about the cat with a cold than I do the OH...

and I hope they get the perpetrators of the cash point mugging....so very sad for the man involved...wishing him recovery....

I paid 90p for the butterflies

Checked in my local, they still had zebra but I resisted. I think I now have enough brollies to last a while, including a few of the gents ones I got from Amazon for about 9p each :D

    Wow 9p that's good

Mystery champers have arrived from twine.

Whist I didnt get the variety of DM's 2 cases,I got very good value.

    12 bottles

    4 x Piper Heidsieck £120
    2 x GH Mumm £67
    1 x Nicholas Fauillatte £17
    1 x Invilla Prosecco £7.50
    1 x Canti Prosecco £8.99

    2 x Bartenura Prosecco
    1 x Tenuta Ca'Bolani Prosecco

so my estimate is around £220 plus 3 bottles I can't price

I'm starting to wonder if after christmas is the time to buy the mystery cases for the best deals...now I'm off to put them away in the rack.

I think it is, as people will splash out more on wine and fizz, so more chance of the better cases being dropped.

    :) AJ - Mrs Tiggywinkle ♥

Hedgehog located last night and caught, weighed and put in a box with hay and a wrapped up hottie over night. Dropped off at vet this morning on my way for my annual health check, all ok. Hedgehog on antibiotics and being treated for lungworm, early stages. I'm taking him to a carer who can do the injections then I'll get him back when we'll. if he's of good weight he can be left to hibernate otherwise he'll have to over winter indoors

Oh no, poor Bryn, I hate it when they are unwell and they can't tell you what's wrong, or what they want xx

omg Snap, that's horrendous news. I never dreamt it was as bad as that. Did they get whoever did this to him? Why beat someone in that way, thrown and stamped on, it saddens me so much. The culprit needs to be locked up and given some of his own medicine

I hope he's going to be ok but it sounds like it's going to take a long time bless him. Sickened and disgusted here xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Tenuta Ca'Bolani Prosecco, £6.99 but very highly rated.

Thanks DM...the 3 I couldn't price came in a box with the 3 pipers,so anything that makes up the other 3 bottles is more than a bonus.
All the bottles are for once in pristine condition too which always bodes well.

I have a real soft spot for Mumm too...We visited the champagne house years ago and it's where the kids had their first taste of fizz......
