Just seen that from FunkyNumpty, whoever that is. I agree with you E, we need reminders. It's a shame that one of us has used an AE to try to stir things up.

I'm now off on my travels, back in half hour or so xx

Yes I agree. Thought the AE name said something else at first lol Naughty Susie.

Good Morning all Have you eaten all the freddo s Nellie  :D

After 45 mins of frantic wardrobe rummaging to try and find my work trousers, I'm finally in bed and just catching up while I wind down to sleep. Glad I didn't leave that hunt until the morning!!

Hoping for a positive day tomorrow, the first day of the next stage of my life! :D Got 3 alarms set so should definitely be ok, unfortunately DH is away with work so no back up plan, I'll be late otherwise

Just wanted to say OMG the Sherlock finale!!! :T:T:T Definitely one to watch if you're a fan :D Part of me wishes I hadn't watched it whilst home alone though :o

Which patterns of brollies are cheap in SD please? And are they 90p?

Hope the alarms went off ok this morning and you are now at work -enjoy your first day.
Sherlock ..wow gripping stuff...I thought last weeks was nail biting but this week ...best ive ever watched
    SD - brolllies,
90p = snakeskin, leopard print, zebra
    30p = butterflies

I paid 90p for the butterflies

Checked in my local, they still had zebra but I resisted. I think I now have enough brollies to last a while, including a few of the gents ones I got from Amazon for about 9p each :D

    Good morning all....

Firstly .....thank you for lovely words over the weekend, they really are appreciated x

DS was returned safely to uni so all is now very quiet at home.

OH and I went out mooching yesterday afternoon and collected our free patiserie val cup cake each (I thought of TS when we were doing this)...we also got our free krispy kreme each and managed a free latte each in starbucks with empty promotional packaging from coffee......so not a bad afternoon.

Edam have paid out this morning on the cheese ball....I'm slightly relieved as I did purchase it in S and was not able to upload the part of the receipt with the date on,but it has all gone through ok.

Now for my update on frugal JAN....and I'm not really sure how its going!!!!!
on the plus side if I just include food we are on target....this week is dedicated to ham week and I have cooked the last remaining M beast from the freezer...so with pasta,as part of a pizza, with eggs/pineapple,a curry etc we will easily get through the week.

On the minus side to frugal and after seeing DM's fizz....I ordered 2 cases, they will be arriving today!

.....so thats nearly £200 this month on twine....oops.....but every other day dry jan is also still going ok so hopefully whilst it's a big order this month we wont need any more any time soon.

Stay safe and warm all...and have a lovely day.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

My mum has found that giving up all grains(all wheat and oats etc) and potato has really helped with the RA. She misses toast but feels so much better that its worth it.
Hope you find something that helps.xx

    Thank you :):)

I missed the brolly thing when it was originally mentioned. Noticed my SD has a big stand so I will pop in later to see. I need a new brolly. Thanks
DS text a few mins ago. He is in Delhi for a business meeting this week. 1st time he has been abroad with work so quite exciting.
