I have been back and forwards all week to doctors 3 times and drop in centre once .

I have been on steroids and anti biotics ...then more anti biotics

As the tablets I take for rheumatoid arthritis lowers your immunity

So I couldn't take the R Arthritis drugs whilst on steroids ..so hence an episode of RA is in full swing

I am not complaining I just wonder if anyone else on here who maybe

has had the RA diagnose a long time ....has any helpful tips that they

have found to bring relief or ease the intensitivity of an attack ....Or

anything that they find helpful to minimise pain, episodes etc etc

Not really underperky. My husband has it in most joints and he s gone thin. It's like the ra takes all the goodness out of the foods he eats. He s 8 st mind you his flying weight was 8st 4 when he was on the trapeze butit was all muscle then.

He s on methotrexate and prednisolone mainly, one of which is a steroid. He just learns to live with the pain as much as he can. He says at least he knows he s alive lol.

Yes I take methotrexate and hydoxychloroquine sulfate but I have piled the weight on .... I was asking for tips or hints of what to try knowing we are all different but maybe find a common tip from asking people ..... I know what he means about the pain ... its the tiredness that gets to me ...I am sure RArtritis would be happy if I slept the clock around. I didn't know your husband was a trapeze artist ...pray tell us more :)

oh my the questions could now be endless....but please share any snippets that might be appropriate....
