Mine have been showing as despatched since last Thursday but have not been received by my local store. I called in today, (for the third day in a row), to see if they had arrived but no joy. Have now been re-ordered and the store manager put 400 points on my Advantage card as an apology....soooo, nearly 16 squids worth of conditioner for free. Doing well on the 'points to say sorry' front recently as got 750 awarded the other day for the shabby state of the smelly Orla Kiely soaps, (via c/s online), so they were free too. :j
I'm obviously doing something wrong - emailed CS about the state of my shampoos and ended up having to send another email yesterday to complain about the fact it's been 8 days and they haven't replied to me apart from the automated we've received your message
Missed being able to lurk in hereI came by to let you all know that the revlon nail buffer was back in stock (I know some had missed it like me) and found the thread closed. Unfortunately it's out of stock again now.

Did someone wander off with one of the Arms picnic chairs? The pink one is missing ...
Oops, I was just giving it a wipe down, I'll leave it back pronto.:o0 -
guess who forgot to set the timer on the oven....tea will be the blackened version of pasta bake this evening....
At least the salad will be edible
My lot like everything burnt, good job really!
Glad we are back, but what a lovely lot of peeps in the Arms!!curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -
...and it now looks like not only have we been in exile...but that our soon to be displaced Prime minister hands the keys over on Wednesday to Mrs May....
that must be horrendous logistic wise to move in a short time frame.
There will be plenty of room for them all with guest rooms etc if required. Must be horrendous to find you are PM months earlier than expected and now have to deliver on what you said .
On reflection, though, it is probably better for the country not to waste another two months with them faffing about when that time would be better spent getting on with the job and making some decisions to improve things including stability. They can get all the MPs back to what we pay them to do as well rather than discussing who is in charge - others could also take note.

Good to be back, thank you MSE, hopefully there is a way back for all current and former posters and we don't leave anyone behind at our temporary home
.
Perhaps we should keep the other place too, though not sure if people would visit both?

another idiot question about ipads pretty please- yes I've been playing in the settings again - well it was a wet afternoon
I am doing a back up to icloud and it says it will take 6 hours
If I plug it in to the CPU will it automatically back up faster?
If so can someone put a picture of the wire I need - I can then figure out which end goes into which slot - once I do will it just get on and do its stuff without any interference
(this all sounds a bit lewd, hours off the watershed yet)
OH has backed up the photos to the main computer which is good but I thought I would try backing up to icloud myself
yes I should take more notice wen OH does these complicated things but he tends to bark at me if ask difficult questionsI think I need to borrow a small child to show me how to do it

we do need the other place aired and ready as an emergency bolt hole - sadly its inevitable that scuffles will break out again on MSE ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I've actually never moved house....sort of drifted into the one we have after living at home then getting married, and we've just expanded into it.....but never really had to pack up a place and move on...I guess the closest we came to it was after my parents death and we had to clear it...but in reality we just bought a storage container and placed everything there
It seems strange to say...but I'm honestly in no hurry to ever move.
Buy...yes,we've gone on to get a few other BTL things but never bought another family home!
But going back to our new PM to be....I wonder how much new entrants change the decor etc...I seem to remember its not been that long since DC had a new kitchen or was it 2 put in....must be strange potentially having to inherit others choices because it comes with the job rather than you choosing the housefrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
