we do need the other place aired and ready as an emergency bolt hole - sadly its inevitable that scuffles will break out again on MSE ...
Maybe if people feel the need to have a discussion that involves a few but would otherwise disrupt this thread, they can be respectfully asked (or indeed, with self awareness, know not to discuss here and could invite by PM) to retire to the "meeting room" and can have their discussions there without risk of getting us closed down on here?

another idiot question about ipads pretty please- yes I've been playing in the settings again - well it was a wet afternoon
I am doing a back up to icloud and it says it will take 6 hours
If I plug it in to the CPU will it automatically back up faster?
If so can someone put a picture of the wire I need - I can then figure out which end goes into which slot - once I do will it just get on and do its stuff without any interference
(this all sounds a bit lewd, hours off the watershed yet)
OH has backed up the photos to the main computer which is good but I thought I would try backing up to icloud myself
yes I should take more notice wen OH does these complicated things but he tends to bark at me if ask difficult questionsI think I need to borrow a small child to show me how to do it
If you have an official iPad charger cable, then take the USB end out of the white plug and plug that in the USB socket on your computer. If you have iTunes on your computer, you can then backup on there instead (and restore to a new iPad or the same in future, if required).

Just moving this post over from our holiday home - posted yesteday:Just noticed, the Glaceau water 12x600ml bottles are back on offer in T at £2. CS and CoS are offering £2 Cashback (claim 5) if bought in A. If this matches on the APG it gives free bottles of water in time for summer .
Others probably got these earlier in the year so check whether still available for you to claim on CS through Quidco website (if showing on CoS you should be able to claim). Can claim once on TCB too if you want to risk it.
