sadly a thrush has just flown straight into the patio window and it broke its neck, only lasted a few seconds -
normally we take anything injured we find to the RSPCA place at Stapley grange.
OH lifted a square of lawn to bury it as it did not feel right to put it in the bin.

    quite upsetting, feel quite tearful.

I think the karma in the house is all wrong and I really don't know enough to even begin trying to putting it right

While we are talking I will get my sixpennys worth in.

If any wants to indulge in trading insults on the thread.Think of all the other people it may harm.
It shows no self respect and a total lack of control just for self gratification.

As you can see I am still a bit angry.

I notice we have had no sign of remorse from the chief offenders.
    Sal what can I say....
I guess i'm not whiter than white in all this but we are all back together now and sometimes its not worth looking back in anger....
I've never set out to intentionally upset anyone on this thread but the past few weeks I clearly have,as my posts seem to be getting deleted quicker than DM can set up a new thread in exile!

We are the elite...everyone of us and I think we all realised where a little bit of our heart remains when we were evicted on Friday.

Perhaps I can suggest that if anyone feels strongly about post or topic they approach the person via a PM first to see if the issue can be resolved amicably there before bringing it spilling onto the thread.

I for one want to see the elite continue....with everyone playing an equal and recognised part in it.

In other news I picked up my chooks yesterday (not as fluffy as TM's..more the VT variety but at the moment I'm Still working out how to post a pic...that might be a job for tomorrow!
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

    Are they edible?

One of my friends is really into feng.. thingamabob. She always gives wonderful presents at xmas. My favourite one is two identical plastic flowers, that had to be the first thing to the right of our bedroom door... we have not argued since (now I have said this I bet we have an argument tonight). When we were designing the house, she insisted on the stairs being moved.

I don't think you can 'fix' karma, but you could try just hoping that it will get better. Some folk ring little bells to clear the feeling of unwanted energies, my Reiki master used to do that.

If the thrush had to depart, it was better and quicker that way than death by a predator. Not much consolation to us, I know, but a world of difference to the bird. x
