Good Morning Elite  .......... you don't often see me saying that :rotfl: But it;s coz I've had a disturbed night. I developed a deep rattling cough yesterday morning, plus Berry is unsettled after their time with Joy (kennels) and he needs to settle back into his routine. This means he doesn't like me lying down in bed, as he can't see me, so he barks, and barks, and barks. So I've spent the night in bed, up in lounge, in bed, up in lounge, back door open, back door closed - that sort of thing

When I looked out around 6 it was starting with little flakes of snow blowing in the wind but within 2 minutes it was bigger flakes and heavier. It was wet on the ground so not lying and by the time it had started to settle on top of fence, etc, it stopped. so it's windy but dry now out there
we got homechecked when we got our kitties. A little of puppies have gone up on the website this morning, and they are local to us, going to give them a call this morning. These poor little pups were dumped on a doorstep:(.
We won't rush in to just any pup though, we want to rehome a rescue who hasn't had a great start and be able to offer a forever home.
The biggest relief (don't know if that's the right word?) when we had poppy pts was knowing that her whole life had been happy healthy loved and thoroughly spoilt. My other little girl was a rescue and very clingy and needy

That's what you have, quite rightly, to remember. The wonderful life you gave her, and she gave you, and that you gave her a humane end to her pain/ Glad you are going for a recue - they have so much to give and deserve more than their lives have shown them so far. Whichever dog chooses you, as we all know that's what they do - we don't choose them - will be a very lucky pup

Heartbreaking in Romania at moment as the winter snows have arrived and temperatures reaching -25 so some stray dogs are freezing to death out there, especially in the countryside and mountains :cry:

Just updated my sig with frugal groceries, NSD's and eBay sales and it is not good reading. I have done very well with NSD's with 8 so far out of the 13 (not venturing out today as parcel being collected and another one delivered) but my spending has got out of control since I was paid pension on 9th  Looking at it, I haven't bought a lot, a few whoopsies here and there and a few other bits and pieces, but looking at the individual things, they were items I could very well have done without. My frugal head was missing :o So I am now trying to keep it under £100, allowing me £5.36 and a couple of APG's to see me through :(

After selling one item at start of month on eBay, I must get other items listed. I have the photographs all done, descriptions and postage worked out, they just need listing - so MUST do that in next couple of days
